If I was Holley and saw this video, I would send you a new sensor. It would be the right thing to do.

I’ve emailed and talked to them. They don’t respond to email and they tell you on the phone that nothing is wrong.

This just happened to me. I am PIST. How can they put out this cheap plastic parts for big money and have it fail like this. I am calling them in the morning, I feel they owe me a full new distributor top to bottom. After only 4,000 miles in 3 years, this kinda stuff should NOT be happening.

Mine did the same thing. I found the issue because the RPM trace was horrible and unstable. Sadly the unit is destroyed beyond repair but made it home. This should never have happened on a $450 part.

This is valuable. I'm in process of installing Hyperspark. Would you please let me know what plug wires you use? I have a '65 Stang with 200, Classic Inlines head. Paxton SN89, etc. Bottom of Paxton is very close to Hyperspark, and I'm searching for plug wires and distributor boots which are well insulated from heat. Thanks, Mike

Thank you for making this video. I could not figure out where the chirping noice was coming from. Once I push the plug bung back in the distributor housing the sound stopped and my IAC and RPMS stabilized. Issue is after seeing your video what is a repair option without taking the distributor out of the engine? Now mine stops rubbing when I push the plug in

None really. Pulling the distributor is easy.

I’m willing to guess that the product probably made in China.
