I grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee listening to your daddy, Waylon, Billy Joe Shaver, & still listen to them, I got in the truck last week & this song was in the CD player my boy had drove the truck that morning & I fell in love with this song... He told me who sang the song & who you were, so now I am a huge fan of Hank's daughter, you got something & I know your daddy has to be proud of your songwriting & singing..... Holly, this really touched me. Your grandparents sound a lot like my own parents- and my mom is named JUNE also. They grew up not far from your own great- grandfather in McWilliams, AL. In fact, before my father passed away, he wrote a book about his childhood in Oak Hill, AL, and there is mention of Hank Sr. in that book. This was a wonderful reminder of their love story of 47 years.
