Hi Colin. I purchased a wireless system maybe 8-10 years ago, the Simultalk 24G from Eartek. It’s discontinued now. What a waste of money because the volume was so low. In a room where there is a loud band sound system, where a cameraman is on stage shooting band members, you need volume … and an earplug for the second ear. And better, a 2 ears headset for the director. I finaly bought for a good price a used wired 3 heads pro kit with belt packs. How’s the level for use in these conditions in your opinion?

We used it in that very loud city setting and it was fine. I did not even increase my volume at all that day. Plus, Dream Streams used it in the large hall with an award show going on so it's pretty loud.

No, you must charge the batteries in a standard outlet.

Other question: what happens if the sound crew is using the same intercom model? Will we all be on the same frequency?

At 2:46 mark in the video he mentions the ability to set groups up. That is where you would set a separate group up from the sound crew in your example.

This comment is not related to the video but I've noticed you use a third party cursor, when you zoom in the screen recording it gets pixelated. Is it the same if you use the default windows cursor? Could you please help me?

@@VideoRevealed Sorry I wrote it wrong. I meant to say that since you record on a 4k screen and downscale it to 1080p and so everything stays sharp except the cursor because you use a third party cursor which is (i think) a picture. What I am asking is, does it (the cursor) get pixelated when using the default windows cursor too? (While scaling in to 100%)

Hello… a very good review and demonstration…. BUT…… why the music at the end??? A poor choice of music and way too loud in relative to your voice… very distracting…. So, from a long time video professional, here’s my advice…. Do a little better next time with your choice of music and audio levels of the background music…. Regards…. Ron
