The character of Polly was played by Evelyn Venable. She was the voice and model for the Blue Fairy in Disney's Ponocchio. She was the original model for the personification of Columbia in the Columbia pictures logo.

The wonderfully talented and beautiful Barbara Pepper. She was good friends with Lucille Ball, and almost got the part of Ethel Mertz. But she later settled for the role of Mrs. Ziffel on Green Acres.

Now why did they have to go and make another woman seem vengeful and spiteful after losing a bet. She lost fair and square but just had to get the DA back by letting him get arrested. Glad that never happens in real life
