This was so much fun! I get so excited about a good buy. The silk pillow cover is beautiful. It was a good addition to your pillows, and the feather insert was such a good buy! Yes, to more videos like this. I was looking at your sweater wondering if it was vintage. I love interesting buttons, they make an outfit. Can hardly wait for your project video!

Great to see you today! Many stores will match their online prices when you're in the store. It's always worth asking them nicely if they could do that for you. If you see a piece of furniture or other item with damage, they will have trouble selling it. If the damage is something you can repair or could live with, calculate a price 30-40% lower than their best sale price of the day and make them an offer at that price. Please don't hesitate to do this! Leave a little wiggle room, so they can bargain up a little, but don't accept an unappealing counter offer. Most stores would rather move merchandise than lose out on a sale, so always be nice and always ask. Worst case, they say no. Thank them and move on. I've been many places where friends said "they don't negotiate" and 100% of the time, the stores did negotiate. This is especially true if you're willing to pay cash on the spot. You could charge the rest of your items, and pay cash for the one. Please inspect the item and consider carefully before you make an offer. Once the offer is made and accepted, you should follow through. Generally, it will be for final sale. Happy hunting!

I always love seeing your videos, so experiment away and we'll give you feedback! I liked seeing the variety of stores and items available. I'd also love to "visit" a thrift or antique store or thrift mall with you. You have a great eye for design and style and appreciate well-made things. You'll see more of that quality at an antique store, and not all are super expensive. My grandmother could go into a store like a laser and find the best treasure there. She often found a diamond in the rough at an amazing price. Once she took a table top from one antique store and combined it with a pedestal base from another. Fifty years later, that table is still our favorite. Thanks, as always, from Courtney in Virginia (Turkey is where I used to live).

Love this mini education session. Now I know to look at both online and at brick and mortar. I bought a table tgat had a scratch at an "open box" store. You gad to lean on it with magnifying 🔎 to see it. But it was so cheap, I got it anyway. Btw, the red sweater is perfect for Valentines 💝 Day.

$420 for a table with a giant gouge on veneer in it is thievery. I'd understand if it was 100% wood.

If you find that the website is cheaper, ask for a discount. Many places will give you a discount if you ask. I have even gotten a discount at a doctor office, if I paid in cash.
