With the help of www.ArtResin.com, Sarah Walker from @thecuratedhouse used some non yellowing, no VOC epoxy resin to turn a standard stretched print into a shiny, expensive looking focal point for her 2015 one room challenge!

Looks like a very cool product. The low odor is what really interests me! I might have to give it a try on some future projects!

that's so lovely. I can't wait to begin my print. I have a question though, what kind of frame support is that for mounting the print?

I need help... please give me a hand. I got as a gift some polyester resin (didn't know about Artresin) and I did some coasters and magnets in moulds, etc... The thing is that after cured they got a lot of fingerprints on them, and even though they go by polishing them, after I finish they get new ones and the circle never ends. Can you help me with a tip to avoid and stop this please? Many thanks

+Mique Films did it fully cure and dry hard? are they just std fingerprints like on glass? polyester resin is best for thick pours and is also pretty dangerous and stinky! maybe spray a top coat of a glossy varnish - wont look the same but may help stop the from happening. even sand the surface down a bit and apply a varnish...

+ArtResin Hi again. I just tried art resin for the first time (after the disaster with polyester epoxy) but I had some issues and I wonder if you can give me some advice. First of all, after mixing the resin and hardener, it ended up being very white, full of tiny bubbles that were very difficult to get rid of. I used the resin to dome a little art work sample, and after a few minutes applying fire with a kitchen torch they went away... and even though it looked clear, when cured there still were a few very tiny bubbles in some places. I also used it to make some samples on a mold, but in there it was impossible to get rid of the bubbles... I only managed to clear the surface on risk of burning the mold, but underneath there were still a cluster of bubbles that made the piece look very blurry.... I wonder if you have any tips to avoid that huge amount of bubbles... maybe a specific temperature or something like that. Also, I noticed that the molded samples, and some leftovers from the doming tray, are quite flexible, kind of rubber like more than plastic... is that normal? Many thanks in advance for your time.

+Mique Films hmm. maybe sand the top a bit and spray on a top coat of a varnish? polyester resin is very dangerous stuff!

+ArtResin hi. thanks but this was a different question about Art Resin

+Mique Films they will harden after 3 days! we have a longer full cure time then other material because this means better performance for long term non yellowing. if the resin is cloudy, you room may be too cold. try heating everything up first! bubbles MAY keep coming because it is reacting with something on the mold or something else you put in the resin?
