Home Free are masters at collaboration. They know how to showcase without upstaging them. Rob rises to the occasion. He sings most of the 2nd verse.

Don Mclean still got it. Don Mclean and Home Free do a great job together. Rob and Austin did a great job singing with this song. The harmonies are great and I love Home Free and they are my favorite. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Don McLean invited Home Free to join him on his 50th anniversary recording of American Pie. Great collaboration. He invited them to sing when his star was set on the Walk of Fame! Of course, they did!

When they collaborated on "American Pie" it was done separately during the Covid lockdowns. It so nice that they can be together for "Vincent". Home Free's harmonies are incomparable & Don McLean is such a masterful lyricist - this song is so deep, it's poetry set to music. I'd love a copy of that picture with HF & Don McLean . .

Rob sang quite a bit. Did you see the video? Beautiful with Van Gogh’s paintings behind them and then they become a painting too….so clever. Don sounded great for 78! Loved this!

This is truly phenomenal! What a voice Don McLean still has! Wow. And of course Austin also sang great, but Rob's voice is just perfect for this song. His voice so warm, soft as silk and full of emotion. The quiet background vocals and guitar playing complete it for me. It's the same song as my youth, but with the Home Free twist it's something different. A beautiful song where I, of course, as a Dutch person, know the history of Vincent van Gogh well. If I could, I would have given Don McLean and Home Free a bouquet of sunflowers in memory of Vincent. The sunflower one of his most famous paintings 🌻...... 💖 💖💖💖💖💖

@@danielcrane1560 Vincent van Gogh's life was a sad one. When I got his life story at school I already found it interesting. And when I watched the series, every now and then a tear flowed down my cheek. Even though I don't like all of his paintings, I did appreciate them. Especially if you know the story behind the painting. He once cut off his left ear when he had a conflict with Paul Gauguin. There is also a painting of that. His brother was actually the only one who was always there for him.This song therefore means quite a bit to me, perhaps because I sometimes recognize myself in it. The fact that Don Mc.Lean sings in the foreground here is precisely what I appreciate so much about Home Free. The respect they show, no egos. It's not just a group that sings, it's a group with great personalities, no rivalry, real brotherhood (even if Austin leaves, that brotherhood will certainly exist) etc. That's why I'm also a real Home Fry from the Netherlands, who also have some suggestions. Although I actually like everything about Home Free, because there is a song for every mood of mine. I also know that you have already responded to many. So what I mention here, I am not always sure whether you have already responded to it. Just a few random suggestions: -Dreamer. There are three videos of this. 1:The original with only Home Free. 2: Home Free feat. Texas Hill. 3: Home Free feat. Texas Hill,live at the Ryman. All three are very good, although I prefer the original. -Castle On The Hill -Woman, amen/Female -Blue Ain't Your Color -Listen to the Music

It might end up being a bonus video because I think I have a request for Home Free with Don McLean American pie so I think that one’s on tomorrow but I can do your one of your songs as a bonus and then will continue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and if you got any more, let me know. I appreciate you thank you and from selling California awesome that I’m talking to somebody from the Netherlands that is so knowledgeable about Vincent van Gogh And the painting that you’re talking about it’s called but yeah, I could visualize it right away. This is absolutely gorgeous! The harmonies were awesome. Adam the beat boxer sang too with his beautiful tenor voice. It amazes me that Don's voice sounds almost the same as it did 50+ years ago. Please keep reacting to Home Free. Love your reaction!

I think the point of all the many #HomeFree collaborations is to ensure the featured artist(s) shines. They do so many other covers where they put their stamp on those songs that the collabs allow them to feature the guest instead.
