Thanks to this video I learned how to make a liver spread :D if you guys really cant get rid of that bitter and gamey taste just follow the instructions below. Tips to avoid bitter and gamey taste: (Alternative procedure) 1. slice the liver thinner and marinate it with milk and a lil bit of salt and vinegar. (marinate around 6hrs) 2. RINSE it thoroughly and better puree the liver 1st and add 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice. 3. Saute 1 and a half teaspoon of minced/crushed ginger, around 6 cloves of garlic and 1-2 whole onion (Saute well to get rid of excess water content) 4. add the liver puree and add 1-2 tablespoon of sugar. 5. add salt to taste, pepper and dried oregano (this really helps to get rid of the gamey taste of the liver) 6. you can add extra ingredients like pork belly, beef, etc. and extra seasonings to taste (paprika, sesame oil, msg, bay leaves, chillies, dried basil, star anise, dried parsely) up to you. (optional) 7. DONT OVERCOOKEDD IT, cook it on LOW FIRE and mix it constantly! (make sure to get rid of excess water content - thicker the better, to extend shelf life) PS. -I followed this video way-back the pandemic years. But yeah I got that bitter and gamey taste so I tweaked the procedure and ingredients a lil bit. and boom! even my sister who don't like liver is currently eating my homemade liverspread :)

Liver! One of the most nutritious foods on earth. Really dig the concise, easy-to-follow, non-verbal presentation, highlighted by a perfect overhead cam. That liver spread looks mahvelous. I can imagine how much the bacon adds to its palatability.

Ganon pala pag gawa ng liverSpread ala-reno spread style…Salamat Po…siguro…i will try adding paprika at anato powder or isasabay ko narin those pampakulau while sautéing the liver at bacon …para di gaano maitim ang ang kulay ng pate.

I added vinegar. Wala lansa. Maybe it wil work . Cream instead gatas ang nilagay ko. At ung oil, pork render oil, hindi butter. Nilagyan ko din ng parika and other dry ingredients.. after ma blend, let it sit overnight para ma fuse ung lasa
