Your comment in reference to your husband doing projects at home because this is your job was really sweet, and for us to be nice to our husbands. My husband does work alot that we have a handyman for everything. My husband is unable to help as much as he would like so he hired someone to help me out. Your home is looking beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

A lot of the things Chase does around the house don’t require a man to do them. You can do them too! There are some things I will always leave to someone else (electrical, most plumbing, and woodworking), but Chase does a lot of things that anyone without special expertise can do. :)

@@christyc4846 of course it doesn't but when I'm busy preschooling 4 year old twins and just barely moved into a brand new built home 3 weeks ago, I'm quite busy with my children and my husband works away from home quite a bit it's nice having someone help me with easy tasks. I'm grateful for the help. Have a Merry Christmas.

I also wanted to say, I think you and Chase have a great relationship! I love all the projects you do together, and I am sure you are each appreciative of everything the other does to maintain and improve your home. You shouldn't need to defend yourself regarding the work Chase does around the house, you are in it together both personally and professionally! Love you guys!

I agree about the first pendant lights. They gave a 'chunky' look which is like a magnet that causes you to struggle to pull your focus away and look at the room as a whole. Whereas the second set are softer on the eye and have a charm that compliments the entire room and adds to the look. Beautiful choice. 😍

Love your home, but I love your heart the most! Thank you for reminding woman not to rag on their husbands about not getting things done. Im not going to lie for a second I thought I need all these things done, but you gently reminded all of us that this is his full time job too. Thank you that was very sweet! I needed that reality check this morning. Love your home and I hope that you are enjoying it.

George is so precious, I just want to hug them both. Definitely prefer the new lantern lights. Much better match to the room. Like the smaller front porch and your sign is perfect there. Pictures look great over the tub and love that window. Good idea for necklaces. Loving Chase's office.

I love your new home. Also, Many years ago L hung up a couple small curtain rods on the bedroom wall behind the door, put curtain rings/hooks on them for my scarves & necklaces. Which now reminds me; I should declutter those. I’m retired now & definitely do not need many of those now. Thanks for the reminder.

What a great idea for necklaces. I don’t have the hanging space (way too many clothes) but love the idea for when I downsize my closet. Love how you work together as a family. Chase reminds me of my husband. When I would have an idea, he always did his best to implement it. I miss that , but I learned a lot from him, so I can take care of myself pretty well.

I have two products I alwAys use....Krud kutter and GP 66....I had just bought all new furniture and while I was painting I fell off the chair and paint went flying all over krud kutter removed all the paint and left everything looking as good as new....GP 66 is great was cleaning any spot spray it on let it sit and remove....I just finished cleaning my siding on my patio with it...spray it on let it sit and wipe off with wet cloth....hope this helps...by the way, I’m lovin your new home.....may you be blessed beyond measure in your new abode

I agree we live in our home for over 30+ years now and doing home projects is fun and it makes it looks nicer too while doing it ourselves sometimes. I love how the lights looked in the kitchen great job 👍🏻 😌 you guys are always so humble that’s what I love about your channel and vlog channel too! & too funny with George sitting in his spot on the couch 🛋 🤣

I love your guest room. I keep ours the same way, ready for guests!! I also love turning lamps on in the evening. I finally put timers on my lamps and am so happy I did. as silly as it sounds, it is less of a chore to walk around and turn them on!

Ugh Ash! I LOVED this video! I love your new lights over the bar! They pull the space together perfectly! I love your idea about writing all your projects down. My house is almost 40 years old so there are tons of projects in each room. Maybe if I start with one room & write stuff down & do then one by one it won't be so overwhelming! I love the shower hooks in the closet! And the pictures! Especially in the bathroom! Savy & Tiger are so cute! And George!!! What an amazing photo! He's a star! ⭐💜💜💜

Great job Chase and Ashley! I liked the first pendant lights, but I totally agree that the new ones match the style of your home much better! Also, just wanted to say thank you for the encouragement about how Chase helps so much because it's both your full time job. I'm definitely guilty of wishing my husband had more skills to help out with projects around the house like all these KZfaq husbands, but I know he works really hard to provide for our family financially. Thanks for sharing!😊

Neither myself nor my husband like to have photos taken. We had a super low-key wedding ceremony earlier this year and my girlfriend decided to take pictures. All of them were awful, the best photo was a group of us that our officiant took but it still isn't a picture I love. I love to have pictures around the house but our photos are pictures of our nieces and nephews. My sisters house is basically walls and walls of photos. Some have joked about the "shrine". I love the frameless pictures. The closest I have to that is the Walmart brand picture frames that you have to pop the glass out to insert photos.

Hello and thank you for the tips! The necklace hanging hack is brilliant and exactly what I need. I spent an hour untangling chains and necklaces the other day and came up with an unsatisfying solution so thank you so much for coming up with a fix for my problem. You're amazing! Thanks Scott for trying to explain to Tabby how it is, but she's a hater and will never understand us. I have learned to not waste my time with negative, closed-minded, hateful people like her. She is very sad to watch my channel just to troll and make horrible comments about how much she dislikes me. Who does that? A very sad person and I wish nothing but healing for her. The new lights are a much better look. Now that they are hanging the room looks so much more open and cohesive. I wish my barstools had those litylt dodads on them. Mine sit on bamboo floors and I'm changing the felt every month to keep them from scratching!

Yes Ashley! Great projects. One of the first Things i did when i boght my home was change the lights and bathroom faucets to match the rest of the finish throughout my home. I bought my lights from Amazon and Lowes. The next projects are replacing the shower heads/ tub fixture and exterior lights. I'm also on the hunt for an energy efficient refrigerator.
