Homelink programming tutorial

How to program a garage door opener built into your vehicle. The model I am showing this on is a Ford F150, but it should be the same process on any vehicle with a Homelink system.

What an excellent tutorial. Ford couldn't even get the photo of the Homelink in my car correct, much less the instructions for programming the unit. THANKS VERY MUCH!

You know videos like this keep the world running. I followed the instructions from Lincoln and it simply didn’t work. Watched this quick direct to the point video and had it done in 30 seconds. Thank you!

This is by FAR the best instruction on how to program the remote! More than that it was the Only one that was correct! Even Ford was wrong! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

THANK YOU! So frustrating that the garage door and homelink manuals are incorrect....not to mention so many youtubers. This video is newer than most on youtube, maybe something has changed but this worked on my Infiniti QX80. AWESOME!

Don't do the first step (1 and 3 button) if you already have buttons currently programmed to other garage doors. If you do then you are resetting/clearing all the buttons.

That’s all well and good but will your original opener that came with the garage door still work because I can’t get one to work without erasing the code from the other car

@@bradysgaragedoors lucky you I tried for over an hour to program two Lincolns and when I program the second one it erases the first one I’m wondering if the system is too old and is a fixed code system, I have to take the remote apart to look. Thanks 😊
