Mayonnaise is one of those products that has seen a huge price increase over the past 2 years. Your mayo recipe looked so easy, and I have the ingredients on hand. So, I have to give this a try. Tonie, I totally enjoy your brief and succinct, helpful, and insightful vlogs!

I'm in central Florida and we haven't had 90 degree weather this year. I had no idea mayonnaise was so easy to make. Thanks!!

'Heat wave' here in Wisconsin too. High 80's. I don't mind, it's when the humidity kicks in that it gets really uncomfortable. Thanks for the mayo idea!

I’ve never seen Mayo made with the entire egg. Usually it’s just the yolk. I like this because you don’t have to find something to do with the egg white or waste it. Looks good. I like the addition of red wine vinegar. I love red wine vinegar.

I am going to try this recipe. You are having weather in the 90s and here in North Carolina we had a chilly May and it was only in the 70s today. I did get my small garden planted on May 1st but most of the gardeners around here still haven't planted yet. Mine is doing very well with a lot of yellow squash coming in. I think Mother Nature may be drinking and driving. lol

Morning Toni! If you want your Mayo to last about a month in the frig add about 1 to 2 TBSP of a cultured liquid like cultured sauerkraut or pickles It doesn’t affect the taste and you won’t have to make it as often.

Looks great, Toni. I've made mayo like this but am always a little hesitant to use it. I usually use it in a recipe that will be heated....like quesadilla filling or a squash casserole. I had campylobacter from eating a tiny bite of uncooked cookie dough. I can remember how ill I was and that was 30 years ago.

Most of the store bought Mayo in the US has a preservative called EDTA which is absolute trash and terrible for your health. It’s a good thing you are doing this now too because the egg shortages from last year are starting to affect the Mayo supply this year. I have heard the Mayo is going to be really expensive this year because of that

Hi Toni - glad to hear your garden is doing well. Because of the heat that is coming I planted all my tomatoes yesterday and today I’m planting the squash, pumpkins and cantaloupe. It is always better to transplant when it is a bit cooler. That mayonnaise looks wonderful and such an easy recipe, I’ll definitely have to try it.
