I read about a similar thing in The Backwoodsman magazine about a year ago and then forgot about it lol. Thanks for showing what to do and how it works. And not to be a safety cop but please use a guard on the grinder. I use them daily and have seen some pretty nasty injuries from them. I've never been hurt but have had a cutting disc shatter and fly past my fact at 10,000 RPMs and stick itself an inch into a 2X4.

Bruce I appricate the concern and you couldn’t be any more correct! Power tools are no joke and shouldn’t be treated as a toy. Thanks for watching and no worries on being a safety cop! I would rather someone “politely” call out my errors so me and viewers can learn!

I did this but it's deinfitely not a $10 grill (unless you already have all the parts). I ended up spending $100+ getting the 2x pots, the grill grate, thermometer, a charcoal starter/chimney, gasket tape, a springform for the bottom, a u bolt for the handle, corks... then there's the charcoal for $15. I could have bought a grill at that price but I like having my own design and being able to customize it, so still worth it. Plus its fun

I mean if you didn’t have a single item at home to do this DIY then ya…. I guess! I literally bought the Pots 2/$10 (at the time) on sale at a craft store and had everything else laying around and recycled it: Thanks for watching!!!

It’s very short and not in direct flame so no issues really! Thanks for watching!
@JeremyBanham
@JeremyBanham 6 жыл бұрын
if you were finding it to be an issue you could probably change to a short length of small chain with even just a screw or similar for the inside and use a wood block on top only. Just an idea :)
