I and my children had to move in with my mother, there father stays in a tent out back. I've been trying to find a place to rent but no one is willing to help us.My mother has a small home and can't wait to get rid of us. I wish we were expected in this program, that would be a dream come true. Jacy

After interviews and final selection for Phase 1 homes, do the applicants who are not selected have to start completely over or are they waitlisted?
@PDXHabitat8 ай бұрын
We do not have or keep a waitlist. If an applicant isn't accepted during one application round, they must reapply next time. We keep an interest list where we can notify people when we are accepting applications, but the application has to be completed again. Our application rounds are often months to a year apart, and household and financial information can change significantly during that period of time so we need new information.

Where can I find habitats
@jenniferanderson89003 жыл бұрын
The income range is based on HUD median income for the area which increases over time. Owning a home requires paying taxes and homeowners insurance so no matter how inexpensive the loan payment, there is a required minimum.

@@jenniferanderson8900 still cheaper than renting. Also apartment's require you to have renters insurance and pay water and usually rent alone is 2k and up depending where you live?
