After disconnecting my battery in my 2016 Civic EX-T (which I had done a few times before with no issues) I got the message that the anti theft system was activated and I needed to press the power button for 2 seconds to bypass it and continue. Well the system was frozen and it wouldn't do a damn thing....
Here's how I figured it out and how I got back into my stereo.
It's late November and it was a relatively warm day so I put some cold air on but then the system froze and I couldn't adjust temperature... I was NOT going to go all winter without heat. Environment controls like this should not be legal.
