Hello, why my 2020 Honda CR-V EX do not have access to most of the Hondalink services? It is because hardware limitation? Is very frustrating and disappointing. Other cars like the Hyundai Tucson has these features in all trims. Doesn't make any sense since I was willing to pay the subscription.

I own a 2023 Touring CRV - When I was shopping to find a car every dealer I talked to adds lojack to their separate dealer installed features addendum. Lojack seems to do most everything hondalink does. So my natural question is, why do I need hondalink? Thank you in advance for a response.

In my new 2020 Civic Si, Honda Link is quite useless. Even after a long trouble shooting phone experience with a Honda Tech, rebooting the car's computer, reinstalling the app on my Motorola Z4, no go! The phone app says that it is linked to the car, but does not populate the phone app's Total Range, Odometer and Oil Life readouts. So Honda Link is not of much use to me.

If i live outside USA , can i i use any of these features?

It's the little things that make a difference and since Honda does not offer the remote or security packages for their 2018,2019, 2020, 2021 or 2022 Civic then I will be looking to Mazda or Toyota!

So the base model 2020 CRv only has basic things you can do with the Honda Link? It seems your can only get the features like which tires are low and things like that only on models other than the base, Sales men really should make that clear. We would've gotten a outlander if there was a dealership nearby instead.

I have a base model 2019 civic. I was hoping I could have the remote lock/unlock feature through the app but nope I guess since it’s a base model I don’t get that luxury. The only option I get is if I want to set up an appointment. I work on my own cars so that’s useless for me. My honda link doesn't recognize my phone even though it says it's connected. I don't see my gas or my mileage or anything. I have an accord Sport 2.0T. So my audio and phone will connect to the UNIT BUT when I verify if my phone is Connected to HONDA Link it says disconnected. But I can listen to music and KZfaq from my phone through the unit, yet it doesn't recognize my phone through Honda Link? It only recognizes it when I delete my phone from its memory and reconnect it manually EVERYTIME I step into the car. All the other times is says connecting to my car, even though it doesn't connect. What's going on how does my friends 2006 GM truck link to his phone and not my 2018. BTW this the last honda I ever buy. Loyal to you for 25 years, and don't get me started on my rattles I get when my car has 3,000 miles in 7 months!

What's the point in the basic package? All it does is allow me to schedule service and roadside assistance. Literally does nothing else. What a waste of an app. My 2022 civic exl hatchback should be able to do so much more.

The free version is worthless (it doesn’t tell me anything useful) and the pay versions aren’t worth it (same or better info available in car)
