HONEST REVIEW- Metabo MFE40 wall chaser & ASR35 vacuum

Just wanted to help anyone thinking of picking this up. I’ve seen a couple of videos but find it hard to see anyone who’s just said the anything about the cost of the machine so this is that basically

We use it sometimes from the top down for tight spots, easier on the arms too. Mind you we found we only got two rewires from that tripple blade, dunno if its worth the money. There are cheaper triple blades online but we're yet to try them

I’ve had 3 out of the triple blades myself but I think going top down you end up with more rubble on the floor

@@Jayfinnie true, but hood up, glasses and gloves on and look slightly down at at all times. Its still ezr. Love that machine and asr 35. The best 👌

Could anther vacuum work with the chaser ? Currently have the makita dust extractor and chasing tool. looking to switch chasing machines to the metabo but keeping the makita hoover

You definitely can I know people do but I think it would have to be mains or you aren’t going to get the suction you need

For getting the chaser closer to the wall, could you not go down instead of up?

You could but would involve changing blade position as well

How were the blades after doing the 3 rewires? I’m getting one but have no idea how long the blades will last.

Blades still fine on mine I’m at least 4 in. Also at the point now I don’t use a bag as they seem pointless for the price just empty the hoover into a bucket

Easily done the 3 rewires I’m still on the same blade now 8 months on even just doing jobs such as TV sockets now no issue with the blade I got initially. Customers seem to love the fact it comes with the vacuum. Gives off a look that you care about your work

I DON'T KNOW THAT VACUUM CLEANER, BUT I DON'T THINK ITS BAGS MUCH DIFFERENT. In general, all manufacturers sell us their machines and then charge us heavily for their supplies. I would simply try other bags. Including paper or adapting a generic polyethylene. The manual mentions that the blade can be sharpened when its teeth are blunt.

Yeah I get that I’m not certain because my vacuum at home is bagless I am aware you can get nameless versions now that do fit the metabo but I just run it with no bag

Dude, just make a simple cyclone separator from a bucket or something and you don't need to use so much bags. Cyclone costs next to nothing to make, but will save you a lot of money.

I have been using this vacuum cleaner every day for 3 years. It's just rubbish. The wheels are like in toys for children, after 2 months the switch breaks and this applies to all Starmix models as well.

Ok, i can see how this could be. Ours has not but we can imagine how this is possible. This only applies to the front castor wheels. METABO IF YOUR READING PLEASE AMEND THIS. They're not the best. We have have no problem but with rough service this is possible. Thank god for the the XXXL warranty, v Best one around. The rotary selection switch too seems that it could be better but now now I am not picking

Can only speak for myself personally and mine is more in a domestic setting without crazy heavy use but I’ve had no issues with the hoover. Even had to use it in a wet vac situation yesterday which isn’t a feature I thought I’d ever need but did come in handy taking out an old cylinder

I used it for the 1st time today, I thought it was a bag of shit. hoover was good (those bags are a complete joke though) and the disks are good, but the chaser is shite.

@@fin-elec8576 First person to say the chaser is shit? I thought it was horrible to use, hold, it was hard as fuck to push up the wall, and the chase was pretty wonky, the worst in the house. Idk man, maybe the disc wasn't in right or something, but I thought it was a complete pig to use. I normally use the Dewalt DCG200, with the tri disc, so that cuts down and is super easy to use, stronk af too, so idk, I think it's just much better than the metabo.

@@nanogeekpro2 yeah look it’s all down to personal preference I just think as a duo it’s the only one I’ve ever used to basically make the job dust free when you have to chase down seems to throw shit all over the place 😂
