Well actually boss baby is quite realistic because all it is is a 7 year old trying to make his baby brother more interesting

I like to think that the whole movie was a dream after the parents ask their kid if he wants a baby brother. After the whole journey, then the real delivery happens with Tim having a newfound positive perspective on having a sibling. Then Tim's daughter carries the same kind of wild imagination which should explain why her baby sister also wears a suit at birth, after Tim tells the story to her.

And it'll get an animated series and a sequel.

Who's gonna be traumatized by this in 15 years?

This made me realize that this whole movie, might just be a 7 year old trying to play with his brother while his parents are at work ;-;

I've always thought that Tim had imagined it from the first time his parents came home with the baby and the real things that happened, happened only after he gets a normal baby brother.

Sounds like they were super high when they made this movie.

*A BREAKDOWN OF "THE BOSS BABY" MOVIE:* Step 1: Establish how creative and imaginative Tim is. (REAL) Step 2: His parents put the idea of a baby brother in his head. (REAL) Step 3: The majority of the movie is about Tim imagining about what it would be like to have a baby brother. (FANTASY) Step 4: Tim wakes up and meets his new sibling, Theodore Lindsey, for the first time at the end of the movie. (REAL) Step 5: Introduce Tim’s daughter and establish that she too has an overactive imagination, fueled by her father’s story. (REAL/FANTASY) Conclusion: Most of the movie is just the daydreams of a seven year old and should not be taken literally or seriously. It’s all just harmless and creative fun! Disclaimer: This is how I as a filmmaker personally dissect the plot! I am not 100% sure if this is what the scriptwriter had in mind, but this is how I read it. You are more than welcome to point out flaws in my theory.

This was fun. Honestly had a good time with the film. Never went to deep into it and it's all probably just fake even with the ending. But one thing that makes me curious is as to why this film gets as much hate as The Emoji Movie. It's obvious The Emoji Movie is just a advertisement (faked movie) while Boss Baby is at least a film with effort put into it, somewhat.

Technically, most Dreamworks movies are franchises. The only 2010s Dreamworks movies without series are Rise of the Guardians and Megamind. Both Boss Baby and Captain Underpants are getting Netflix series. Trolls’s premieres later this month

3:24 I remember when I was a kid, I found Kafka's Metamorphosis book laying around and read it. I kept thinking for many years "what if something happens to me (not necessarily turning into a roach) that makes my family hate me"? That line kinda encapsulated my childhood like that. At least the trauma gave me my only perfect score on my high school's assignment of the book as the only one in class who understood the story.
