As a general rule, I don't get offended at things like that until I hear what an actual person of the supposedly offended group has to say about it. I don't know what its like to be Japanese and so I won't speak for them. Since most Japanese people said they didnt think the song was offensive, I dont think it is either. If they said otherwise then I would have a problem with it.

well, fake woke americans love getting offended on behalf of other cultures like there's no tomorrow. think of the recent lady gaga music video controversy where woke twitter tried to accuse her of CA, but the armenians were very pleased by her representing their culture. plus, tbh, i think woke twitter mixes cultural appropriation, cultural appreciation and cultural exploitation quite a lot, so there's that

But now she appears to be healthy and refocused on her career with a new album due this year, reportedly in the summer and she is back to punk-pop with her collaboration with MOD SUN "Flames" and fans love that she is back to the genre that she helped bring to the masses and on top 40 radio.

Avril Lavigne didnt disappeared, she lives forever in our hearts, and it doesnt matter if she could release a new song or not, as we all know that Av loves us and keeps us in her mind and whenever she may have a chance, she will always try and gift us a new song. And by the way, "Head Above Water" was written by her when she felt like shes going to die, the fact that she released it for all of us to hear, only proves how brave and devote she is to her fans.

Avril Lavigne changed my life. She was a key element in my adolescence that led me to become the artist I am today. I felt misunderstood, lost, and alone, and her music comforted me. I felt like she understood. Through the years with her style changes, I still came to love every version of her. It made me so sad when she got sick and couldn't make music or perform, but I just saw her last year in New York City and she performed amazingly. I cried during half of the songs and I had no shame lol thank you for making this video, I've been waiting for it for a while. My favorite album has to be Goodbye Lullaby. Derek did a great job helping her produce it. Every single song is so good and overall the album is very cohesive. It made me sad that it wasn't extremely successful because I think it's her best album next to Let Go.

Avril Lavigne's music has helped me during the hardest moments of my life. I literally love her so much and its crazy that people overlook her discography and only listen to girlfriend. Like ????? She has GOOD and MEANINGFUL songs. I still haven't listened to Head above water (the album) but I plan to.

Please listen to Head Above Water the album. Its about her Lyme Disease battle which nearly killed her. It also talks about relationships, women empowerment and self belief. Its on her KZfaq and Spotify accounts in full and combines sounds of her previous albums. The lead single is also called Head Above Water. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e7F2acqZy8m1mZc.html She plans to drop new music in 2021 so stay tuned.

Hi. I love Avril too and i hate when she is attacked by people who say she died and was replaced. Thats why i made to defend her a big investigation and the result is the best and most clear videos you can find in all youtube about it with really clear evidence that the conspriacy theory is false. Im shareing them to all Avril fans asking for support watching and clicking on I like to my videos so youtube detect them as good videos and offer them to much more people who can see the truth and stop attacking her. To watch just click my user picture to enter my channel and the videos appear. Take care.

@@juanzubi-avrillavignealive3847 maybe she has a double i have seen good videos proving it but it's certain the original Avril is alive. Im guessing the double one has the lyme disease . The original and double Avril works together
