That's a real nice looking model of a King Class. I'm really a LNER man, as I live in that area of England. But do like some engines from the 3 other areas of the "Big Four".

I would say that the decoder received an awful short. Usually the short/thermal overload protection would have saved it but to actually melt a component means it took a pretty good hit.

Once again, you've made it look easy, But I'm sure there were trouble spots along the way. You and I both know that we should often take what ebay sellers say with a large pinch od sodium chloride! (BTW, why is there a cow in the shelter?) Cheers, Jim L

What's your wee ladie going to do when you make version 96 layout? noticed the new cattle shed! LOL. GWR had some great looking locos Parries tanks & Pannier, Manors, Hall's but as for firing/driving (cab layout) the other regions beat the GWR hands down!

Bill, about 7:09, when you take the battery to it, it looks like the left rear driver is wobbling, as if crooked on its axle; it's center hole (possibly) oblong.
