Those techniques were interestimg. I will need to practice cutting with xacto knife . Tricky use . I may need to use a paste paper on wood to cut and then apply to canvas surface. To ensure safe application to canvas and more working area. For me to adjust for cutting . But different result you painted were beautiful scenes I liked them. Thank you.

how did you cut the tape without cutting through the canvas?

As I describe in the video, it's tricky! I primed the back of the canvas, gessoed 3 layers or so on the canvas and let it dry really well. Use a new blade, a gentle touch and you will get it done
