This video will cover the techniques used to make a pair of rustic, organic styled earrings. Sanding with different grades of sandpaper will be used for texturing and polishing, and acrylic craft paint is used for staining.
Supplies used are:
- turquoise, brown and dark copper polymer clay
- paper for a template
- a scissors for cutting out the template
- an exacto knife
- 2 paint brushes
- acrylic craft paint in white or ivory and dark brown, each mixed with water in a ratio of 1 part paint to 9 parts water
- a tissue blade
- a pasta machine
- 2 brass jump rings
- 2 earrings backs
- jewelry glue for the earrings backs
- a drill or other device to make the holes for the jump rings
- sandpaper in the following grits: 60 grit or less, 320, 400, and 600
