Hi just wondering how I would go about doing this with air dry clay as I have crystals that can't be baked. Would love some feedback about this, thank you!
@priscillaandrewsprairiepar70628 ай бұрын
I don't know why your crystals can't be baked. 275° isn't hot enough to Crack them, I've baked plenty of crystals in the oven with my clay! That said, you can do this for air bake clay, I'm sure. It's just clay in a different form. Thank you for the question, and good luck!

A very informative tutorial. Love the shine of the silver beads. What kind of silver powder did you use, and where can I get some?
@priscillaandrewsprairiepar70622 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment! The silver powder I used is actually a nail art powder. It's CNDc Enhancements Additives, Pigment Effect, Pave Diamonds. I hope that helps!

I know this post is 2 years old but that never stops me! Ha! The stuff you must dream of! but can’t yet create because of materials and technology I’m sure makes you bonkers. At least it does for me. Have you ever thought about casting in 3D also as a tool? All the cool small objects you could add! I’m going to definitely get caught up on your videos. I can tell your such a raw talent, you explain rare things that most people step over leaving beginners lost. And you speak your creative process unselfishly.

Hi Priscilla, I’ve just come across your video. Thank you so much for explaining the process so clearly and giving invaluable tips! Could I ask you at which temperature you would bake the cane slices, as you have used Premo and Kato. Thanks again.❤️
@priscillaandrewsprairiepar70622 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry I missed your question earlier! I baked them at 375 for 30 minutes. I cut the translucent off of the tulip, and I used very thin slices of cane. I mix my clays a lot, especially now with the shortage. I watch it carefully, and if using translucent I turn the temp down to 260. I've never had any problems.

I love your creative approach in trying a bunch of different things. Do you find you need to put any kind of protective varnish to keep the stain from wearing off?
@priscillaandrewsprairiepar70622 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I did not cover and pieces with a finish. They are so well sanded and the stain is in scratches so I think it's good. Over worn many pieces over and over have have not noticed and fading. Good question, though, thanks again!
