24 күн бұрынWhen booking a trip, if you have the possibility to go and see your hotel room before you book it I highly recommend it! Firstly, depending on the country you may get a better price by simply walking in and asking for the "best price" and even negotiating. Secondly, you may save yourself some disappointment as often, the photos that we see online vary vastly from the reality.
We caught the train from Hue to Da Nang, then we set off on a hotel hunt! After this, we hired a motorbike from the best motorbike shop we have used since we started our travels 6 months ago!!! You can find that company below.

Wow, you spoke Vietnamese well enough for her to understand and you understood her price quote right away 🙂 It's great that you noticed that Vietnam has a very communal culture. It's funny, well sad actually, to hear that London has a very similar problem as the US in that we really keep our distant from our fellow citizens. I mean the people are courteous but just distant. Talking is viewed with suspicion. I think you're going to love riding scooter in Da Nang. I know I enjoy riding scooter in every VN cities we visited. Feel so free and exhilarating while also feel like being part of the local community of scooter riders. We get a big kick out of seeing families on scooters and young children talking to their parents. That phone umbrella is absolutely brilliant. Enjoying your video series in VN so far.

Haha we are trying our best with the language! Yes the culture here is really lovely. London is definitely missing that. Riding a scooter is very liberating and it’s lovely feeling like part of the community. I have to admit, it’s hard to get used to the way people drive here! To say it’s different from the UK would be an understatement 😁 Thank you so much for watching ❤️

Rent old bikes as your less likely to be charged for damage when returning 😊

Haha! Good strategy but last time we rented old bikes, the brakes didn’t work and neither did the brake lights 😂😂😂

Hey Cuong! The temperature is very hot in Seoul in the middle of the day but before and after it's very comfortable. We came on our last day but didn't catch you, I guess you had the day off of work. Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and the food vendors practiced safety and hygiene.
