We are trying Prosoco R-Guard Fast Flash to weatherproof our window and door openings. I show you the process I used to apply it to Legacy Block and wood rough opening framing and provide some feedback on the process.

More progress! I am hoping to see roof and windows. You had a pretty background of the birds singing. I am so glad Libby's drive will be much shorther and hope things well. XOXO

Thanks. It's an interesting product that seems like it will work pretty well. LOL! That's just my normal haircut. I guess that I am always wearing a hat...

@@ozarksethic LOL...yes, I believe you are always wearing a hat. So do I. I'd like to see an update on your Builder Pros. What you think of them after several more months have gone by and how they look.

Prosoco only goes about 25ft A roll of zip tap goes 90ft But zip won’t bond to your wall or icf

You are correct for Zip used on sheathing. The flashing tape is only 30 ft. hence my comparison. I experimented with the tape a little before going with the Fast Flash and found it wouldn't stick as well as it does on sheathing and lumber. I've not used Prosoco products previously but have used other spray on and roll on sealers. Based on the way this bonded and cured, I think it will work fine. Thanks for the comment and watching!

Made in Taiwan surely is better than China lol. I liked that. Is the product comparable to Flex Seal? I've always found that what a manufacturer says a product will cover never applies to my application. It always takes more. Maybe given a perfect surface it will go as far as claimed.

On a smooth substrate it will probably cover as they suggest. On the block, nope. Too many voids to fill. I think it is similar to Flex Seal but it is a different product based on the way it applies and cures.

@@ozarksethic there's so many products available so it's very smart that you called the manufacturer for more info. That's a great tip for anyone doing a new to them project.

I got on their website and it specifically said to call if you were using their products on ICF. Thankfully, we're not building with "normal" ICF so we didn't have to clean off the oxidation prior to application.
