The black chandelier and the living room in red, black and white is terribly tacky. The black walls in the dinning room and the outdoor kitchen, fire pit and amazing pool are unbelievable. Unfortunately this house is disjoined having parts beautiful and others atrocious. But they seem very happy and that's what matters.

I dig the black dining room. It looks very edgy and classy to me. I have a black and white bathroom, done in black tile, white marble and white and black marble on the walls with black granite tiles on the floor. My Mom suggested I do the bathroom in something bright and cheerful but I had seen a black bathroom at a cousin's home and wanted to go in that direction. However, last I spoke to my cousin she had re-done her black bathroom in cheerful shades, lol.

Wow why are these houses so ugly? The ones they viewed, the one the bought, the before - the after, I can't find a single thing I like. I think all the extravagance, splashing out money for shiny objects, makes me uncomfortable. And everything feels so cold, fake, and uninviting, it's like they were inspired by airport VIP lounges (=places that are literally the opposite of "home")
