Thanks for the video, I have the wham bam on my CR10s pro, awesome products. I have one ordered for my artillery genius printer as well and for my Anycubic Photon s resin printer. I was lucky to talk to the owner when I received the kit for my CR-10s pro, outstanding customer support he took the time to email KZfaq videos on how to install their products. Thank you for making masks during the Covid-19. Be safe and thanks again.👍👍👍👏👏

Great videos! I have sidewinder on the way and im looking at all the options etc. i was just thinking about the magnetic built plates and thinking the wham bam was a bit expensive by the time it gets shipped to aus with the currency the way it is. The TH3D looks like a great alternative for the money so i will get it. I watched the review on your printer and i like how you’re a no-nonsense, practical guy and your videos are easy to listen to. Have you used a flex removable build plate? Pla the stock bed is great. But petg isn't as good. It's nice to be able to quickly remove and start another print. Especially large prints with alot of surface area
@N221BP
@N221BP 3 жыл бұрын
@@EricksonMachinePerformance Even with PETG my glass build plate worked like a charm. The stuff sticks like crazy, and pops off when cold. Every time. Still modded with a PEIK plate, which also works. Main advantage: the heat is more evenly spread, and less curling edges on large prints.

I have been slow in making up my mind on getting a flex plate system for my SWX1. I have not used my printer for well over three months due to health(non-COVID-19). I ordered the Whambam system. The TH3D is not available at the moment. I have used the spring bushings and for whatever reason, I can not keep a good accurate bed so I went back to springs. The springs are 25mm (yellow) with the flat bottom and they seem to do a great job.

I have found with the silicon you have to go back over them once or twice while doing the setup but after that ur good. I think it just takes a couple seconds for the silicone to settle after its compressed which is why it moves a little bit initially but after its set they really don't move

I just got the TH3D flex plates for my Genius and my two SW X1s that are one the way.
