Cordae is the kind of success story that encourages me as an underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Cordae🔥

@@ippinocean4280 snap out of what? I'm very aware of things going on behind the scenes of America and the world. I am also a conspiracy theorist so I am awake. so when I say this do not try to argue with me. this video is about the best thing I've ever heard a rapper discuss. after this I realized I have some changing to do in my life. he is pretty humble. everyone has an ego to an extent and you can't deny it. even I have one. it's human nature. but you have no info to back up what you're saying. this man just had a whole speech about changing you're life for the better and you over here... "wolf in sheep's clothing" you need to really stop judging people for no reason at all. before you try to take a little piece of wood out of you're friends eye go look in the mirror at the big log in you'res.

My personal notes: 1. Positive mindstate- always! 2. Be intentional with what you want! 3. Read your goals allowed (this creates energy-energy is everything) 4. Discipline - installing habits, scheduling, slight edge book, choosing high level energy actions (not low level desires) 5. Surround yourself around high level influential people. Edit the people you surround yourself with. 6. The high level mindset is not a recipe for perfection, but a commitment to honor your potential and what you have to offer the world. 7. Legacy. You want your name to be remembered long after you’re gone? The high level mindset is about doing everything that you put your hands on at the highest level of what you are capable of doing. 8. Think of your life as a book. No chapter will be perfect, and think how you want the book to end. Legacy, I choose legacy.

Cordae I’m so GRATEFUL you made “A bird’s eye view” it was like therapy. It touched my heart. We have so many parallels in life and you wouldn’t see that on the surface level- but from a birds eye view, we have an infinity in life and our energy. Your album was a masterpiece and brought so much... perspective on my life and that I’m not alone no matter what has happened in the past and the difficulties I face today. I’m going to write my goals down, I’m going to try to open my heart and move through this storm with God leading first and take the steps I’m inspired to take next, no matter how difficult. It’s an uphill battle that I face and I may succeed or I may not but I’m going to at least give myself a chance. Thank you Cordae I NEEDED THIS!!!! Your album was a masterpiece much love ❤️✨✨✨

@@sol1229Here’s something that you probably dont want to hear but need to. You can’t rely on motivation, even successful people in their respective fields who are making millions aren’t motivated every single day. Motivation is a fad, it’s something that comes and goes. Drill down on what you really want in life, set a goal, like cordae said, and break it down into actionable steps so no minute is left up to chance. When you go about it this way, you always know what you need to be doing to get you closer to that ultimate goal and there isn’t any time for worrying about being motivated or whatever else. He definitely did a great job presenting his inspiration and a lot of young people will/can benefit from this, but he's a young man, he's only just begun to live and the trials and tribulations that's headed his way is going to test his belief system to its core. Wishing him continued success on his earthly journey! ✌🏾❤

Be the change you wanna be. His plan for legacy isn't just the art he is putting out but to change the hip hop culture to one of good habits and grandeur. He understands how the music genre has impacted his culture negatively and he is striving to change that. And I am here for it, hopefully future hip hop artist are too.

Thank you, TED, for publishing this seminar. People discredit musical artists because their success is a statistical anomaly. True be told, each successful artist is a master of consistency, perseverance, confidence in one's ability, and overcoming adversity. Cordae's seminar exemplifies all of those qualities, he's a smart individual with a great story to tell. Please continue to diversify the speakers of all industries, race, success levels, etc. Each perspective is important and can change someone's life.

The "remove all negative people's" really hits home for me. I really believe that if there is even ONE person who doubts or passively brings you down or makes you question yourself, it cancels out some of your light and luck. But I ALSO believe we sometimes need to have one person like that so we feel that drive in order to push ourselves more and more. 🌱 This was a real TALK 💖

Wow. He has an incredible presence to him. He has every attributed needed that you need to be successful. People might think the lack of applause in the beginning might have been an example of him "bombing." But in all actuality, he had everybody hanging onto every word. THIS is what we need from our musicians and actors and entertainers. They have the highest visibility for our youth and, as such, make the most impact on them. If this is the kind of thing that a kids favorite stars are putting out in the world then we will ALL rise together.

This is a brilliant talk. Sometimes people say 'What could anyone of 24 tell you how to live your life? But here's the thing. To learn at an early age that wisdom is invaluable. Most of us crash around until we're at least 40, caring about how we're perceived, mounting up our supposed failures to convince us that there's no point in trying again. Or the worst, feeling foolish we ever thought it possible. It's nice to hear someone overriding that. Well done!

I’m at a time in my life or stage where I REALLY needed to hear exactly this. Sitting in this tiny room in Ecuador my first stop in my solo traveling journey I know there’s so much I wanna accomplish in life but I’m lacking the true faith and belief in myself. This really struck a cord and I’ll put these points into practice. I believe Ultimately God send this message to me. Allowed me to see it at no better time. Thank you Cordae for sharing this and your heart to help and inspire others ♥️
