Thank you SOOOO much for this video. I pre-ordered one and I was going nits trying to figure out the demensions. Can you make a video on how multiple CFS units are able to connect to each other using the K2 Plus? I've looked at the printer and CFS and I cannot figure it out. Does the hub have connecting ports underneath, and how are the other CFS powered when attached to one printer. Thank you again! Creality for life! Lol

i guess so, right? It's the same thing Apple tells people about their laptops - get a dongle. I rarely use the USB on my printers anyway. But I understand why people think it's odd.

Saw a short clip the CFS will be compatible with the K1max. Can you confirm this will be an option in the future?

yes, they plan to make the CFS compatible with all K series printers - eventually

Thanks Kevin for your measurements with open cover, I know usb port is related to mainboard placement, but they can use 2$ extension socket to place it front, not everyone is using ethernet/wifi, and if you put it in to some rack, or two printers close each you will loose access to usb. Will there be a poo bin in the built-in designs or do we have to wait for the community to create something to size or rework something from the competition other dimensions are in specs K2 Plus Dimensions 495*515*640mm K2 Plus Combo Dimensions 495*515*916mm

i don't know about what STL files will be included but in the past they have put filament holders etc in the machine so a poo bin is possible. I agree with you completely about the USB, it is odd but they said that is where they are putting it. I tried to convince them to put it out the front - i'll keep bugging them about it, let's see if this squeaky wheel gets any grease haha.

@@kevin.3D Knowing Creality, two months after the launch they will release a new K2 Plus USBF printer model with the only change of moving the USB to the front.

Kann you measure the CFS alone? Please 😁(How many space I need when I have two CFS next to each other?) Is that possible. With all the cables and so on? In a shelf next to the printer.. so i mean not on top of it ...

it's possible to have them next to each other - no problem. I won't see the CFS now until September so I'll try to measure it when i see it next.

The CFS is not attached to the top, The cords are long enough to set it down beside - I didn't do it because I was holding the camera with one hand but you can easily lift if off the top and set it beside the printer, no problem.

@@kevin.3D Yeap! Essentialy, I want to put the printer on a 50x50cm pavement block which is sitting on a soundproofing sponge. Helps with sound and vibration spread. So id like to know if the K2+ legs will fit on this surface

I real think someone will make a USB print for front that plug in a USB extension. Honestly can’t see all the fuss over a USB location, it fits on my desk and cannot wait for the pre-order.

The position of the USB port is really odd, but to be fair, I've never used the USB port on my K1 MAX, and I won't be using the USB port on the K2 Plus K2 Plus when it arrives here in early October.
