Your float has a curve in it my man that's why it was digging. Bend the corners up it will make life easier

Thanks for sharing, I like the 50lb bags because it's easier to lift than the heavier 80-100lb bags :D It's good to know the mortar mix might work better and still be the smaller 50lb bag.

Yes will work with the chicken wire but is better with mesh

Good job! I replaced an exterior door and door trim, Got some chucks stucco break off when removing the door trim, so now I'll like to see how to apply stucco patch around new door frame.

You can mix the yellow bag with rapid set for a little faster drying time and working time
