Thanks for sharing. I really like learning about the writing process. I've been thinking about giving it a shot myself. I'll try and see if I can pick this song up but, not sure if my guitar knows how to play those riffs....lol. I've been trying to nail down You and Me by Neil Young which is kind of along the same lines/theme as your song. It takes me a little bit to make it sound recognizable but it's a fun journey.

I totally agree with pretty well everything you said there and to put that into lyrics is a great thing to do. I think most people find the lyric writing the most difficult part in writing songs but you appear to come to it quiet naturally. I don't know what gives me the authority to say that as I don't even know you other than what I have heard you say about your lyrics.
