Wow Benny, the intro and verse (pre the 3/4 section) has a real Nick Drake feel to it. I don't think the 3/4 section works or the following bit work with the original idea. I'd take the original idea and develop that. Interesting you then added it was improvised at the end, it felt that way. I feel it needs a chorus moving into the relative minor key (in your open G, this would be E minor), this way you could touch on discordant ideas with a B7 or Gaug chord. The Damned, a punk band from the late 70's had a song called 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide.' that had a descending ostinato intro that might provide inspiration. It also has a great 5 / 4 timing too (The Stranglers and The Damned had moments of pure inspiration). Good luck with it.

That was awesome Benny! I love your music anyway but this is a really interesting development. Looking forward to watching you investigate the possibilities.

I wish we could see what you were doing on the rest of the RC, but I'd be a hypocrite if I implied that was a problem. I never heard your music... and your voice was exactly what I expected🤣. So many other times, the voice doesn't match the face, from all the processing. This processing doesn't lead it astray at all, which is great.

9:38 called tingshas. I've got a pair, and a 3rd one that gives a dissonant voice to those first 2. I had to buy 3 different sets, in order to put together a 3some with the sonic relationships I wanted.

This was a VERY interesting video to watch! Your setup is such a cool looking environment. It's great to see you experimenting to find the sound that fits your personality and philosophy of life. I see you have a lot of wooden instruments in your boat. Do you have any issues with humidity? How do you keep that from affecting your instruments?

Thank you, I haven't actually struggled with humidity so far no

Big fan of your music Benny - both eponymous and Bingo Harry. You’re approaching your music like a real artist and not resting on your laurels. I favour your production over a lot of the famous musicians who seem to overproduce and compress their songs to death. I enjoyed your looping, would love to catch you live sometime.

Interesting video Thanks . Im not surprised the live gigs with the new set up was a success. I think the idea of more percussion is great for getting the audience more involved and moving ( we all stayed sat crossed legged on the floor in the 1960s ). I think you need to be careful with the vocal effects as it’s easy to over do it , but Im sure you will soon find the right medium. Will you be making some videos to promote your Songs ? A lot of work , but well worth it when promoting your Albums . A lot of work ahead of you but it looks like you’re really enjoying it all 😊 Exciting times to come to come , well done ‘Mum’ for all the encouragement. It looks like it’s all doing wonders for the ‘Hair’ growth ! Or just too busy to think about it 😊 Thanks again for taking us all with you on this journey.
