Thought it was brilliant how you were able to harmonize with yourself too 👍🏻🙂 I was a teenager in the 60’s, so your psychedelic folk songs really resonate with me and take me back to that happy place that I once knew. What I really love about your music, is that it creates a calm and happy place for one to retreat to when all around us is just so chaotic! That is such a beautiful album Benny, you have a genius for blending instrumental tracks together to give a whole new perspective as you did on Distant Fable. I loved the influence of the Indian sound from adding in the shruti box (probably spelt wrong😂) I will now order a hard copy of the album, but have really lost myself in the calming sounds of your music. Hi Benny, I’ve taken a deep dive on your 3 solo albums, and I don’t mean to sound patronising, but I hope you realise how staggeringly gifted you are. You’re an exceptional songwriter, great all round musician and your singing is a versatile instrument in itself. I really couldn’t pick a favourite, but I would probably favour your first and new album over number 2 by a fag paper. I just know that this is music I will be listening to when I’m an old boy. I can hear some points of reference in your sound from Bowie and Neil young, but also hear elements of the early Verve and Jack Bruce’s songs for a tailor, but it always resoundingly comes through as you. Just a few favourites- inventors marvellous painting, rowing instead,rowing instead, making yourself real,castle of our lives - soaring in blew my head off - epic. Thanks for the music x

Excellent... Very trippy. You'll be getting yourself a Hurdy Gurdy or a Symphony next. I have thought about building one myself. I used to play the clarinet and could never get on with the flute, but I love the sound of a low D whistle!

Congrats on the album release Benny! I think you've really found your vibe with these new tunes. Really good instrumentation and vocals.. vocal melodies. Well constructed and crafted. Get a mooring for a year and get a band together.. get out there and gig, and do festivals.. I really think you would go down so well at festivals with a full band and gain a larger audience. Are you approaching radio stations to get tracks played and possible live sessions? I recently convinced my mate who just released his first single to do so and he got played on bbc 6 music and Pirate fm here in Cornwall. You're a real talent Benny.... time flies on the butterflies wings after it emerges from its chrysalis. All the best Benny 🦋

That's kinda nice, man. You'd've made a living in the sixties, I reckon. Somewhat reminiscent of The Incredible String Band and Doctor Strangely Strange - minus the whiney voices. I'll be looking out for some more. Nice little Guild, btw. When my mate got his mahogany jumbo, back in the day, I admit I was a little envious.
