Having a conversation with your boss about a new, exciting job opportunity elsewhere is uncomfortable. We are scared of coming across as greedy and opportunistic, and losing the goodwill generated. However, there are two factors at play here which we often conflate - role and relationship, says Rakesh Godhwani, SoME Founder & CEO. When you leave, your role with the company might end, but if you shared a good relationship with the boss and team, that could still continue.
