How do Swedes say Hello? There are lots of way to say hi in Swedish. So it depends
Hello in Swedish is Hej. Or maybe that is how the Swedish say Hi.
But there are other alternatives as well. Some more formal and some more informal.

Hej and Tja are definitely the most popular ones. and remember that although Sweds are shy and not very talkative, but they are polite, helpful and very nice people.

The second I say "Hej" in Skåne, they can hear I'm Danish 😅 In other parts of Sweden, they don't recognize the accent, they can just hear it's not Swedish. Will work on it! Great video.

@@FunSwedish "tjena" in Swedish sounds almost like a polish "tjema" (siema). And a polish "siema" derives from a polish question "Jak się masz" ( How are you ) that gives a short version "się ma" - siema. Funny 😊 And ppl in Poland normally use "siema" (tjema) like you here in Sweden every day as well 😃

Yes, but it feels like its more used when you are worried about someone. Like "how are things, are you ok?"
