Overtime the switch has gotten harder and harder to retract. Can I open my knife without the springs flying out? How do I clean/lube the action? Thanks!

They might come of if you are not very very careful, but you can put them back on. Maybe have a look if it is extremely dirty inside otherwise i would leave it as it is and contact Hogue

I absolutely can not get the hook to stay on the stop pin in the bottom of the action.. itll stay until i put the thumb switch back on then it just will not stay. How did you keep that thing on there??

After 2 hours I finally got it to stay... if anyone comes to this video with the same issue, what ended up helping me was getting the thumb switch on before putting the springs back on, and keeping constant pressure on the thumb switch while latching the spring on the pin and carefully getting the top scale on (whilest keeping heavy pressure on the thumbswitch) and screwing all the screws in before finally releasing pressure. If you don't keep pressure, the plate will come up ever so slightly and will not allow the latch to stay on the pin. Hopefully that makes sense and helps anyone out there struggling to get that action back on👍
