I wonder how long all those different forms of "find and click this" objectives feel fresh. It doesn't seem to take enough extra thought to be an improvement over just blasting through a rift. It sounds like they're just trying to slow us down without any good ideas on how to do that in a fun way. Clicking a cage or pulling some levers doesn't add much for me. I'm interested in the boss fights, hopefully they have some interesting mechanics.

What I wonder is, how big are dungeons? Are they all the same? Are some just one room or are they multiple levels?

I don't know if people will enjoy the slower paced gameplay so much when they're grinding the same dungeon 10,000 times, but hopefully Blizz can find a way to keep the objectives interesting.

It works for games like this tho. It seems boring however I can't even count how many million times I killed mephisto or baal. D2 is by miles the best Diablo and it's best feature is replaying the same stuff forever.

@@Daventry85 ehm i can't count hoe many times I killed mobs and bosses in d3... Grinding in general just works not because it's ancient d2 that isn't anything special

@@Daventry85 so is 2 if you look at it from a 2022 perspective. I have over 15k hours on 2 and I can't stand 2R cuz of how outdated and clunky it is compared to games in 2022 that are the genre standard now.

It's interesting to see how they have added old school systems to this game. Stuff like reputation, dungeons, etc. It's gonna be fun. I hope they learned that clunky-ness is not always bad. I remember they had an interesting crafting system in Diablo 3 that they removed, where you'd farm rare mobs for parts. So even THAT was considered too clunky at some point. Pretty high hopes from me.

Hey Raxx Do you know if the nightmare dungeon keys are shareable? So that 1 person can farm it, and a whole group can benefit from this key? Or will everyone have to have a key to be able to participate like in d3 GR ? :)

More and more, a question is "itching"... does solo play in diablo 4 exists? or you are "bound" to get a group and do end game like WoW?

Yeah older players with career and family and chores and endless things to do who can't play often, definitely would like to know. Sadly we're a tiny demographic though lol.

Can someone tell if open beta is actually the first early access if you pre order? Or it is different? Their statement was not clear. Please advise. Ty.

The beta will happen earlier in the year. We don't know when exactly it will take place and we don't know if the full game is playable or if it will be limited. Early access is just 4 days before release, if you purchase the more expensive edition.

I like the other things about D4, but yeah, about that bounties part… Those with pit stops (free 6 prisoners, fix 5 catapults, etc.) are a real sore. Can you imagine doing the same set of bounties over and over again farming one dungeon? Yikes.

@@sir_afin As far as I've heard so far, the events are randomised. Of course there's not an infinite pool, and specific dungeons may have a curated list to pull from, but nevertheless.

@@sir_afin Even if it is, that's also probably fine. Repetition is in the nature of grind games like diablo 2 through 4, it has some of that "jesus-on-the-cross look at how much I've suffered to get these items" charm people like to moan about but secretly thinks they're cool martyrs for having gone through, especially when that grind gets improved by some patch later and the new players have an easier time. I think we'll be okay :)

Are the dungeons on the actual map? I'm not understanding if you actually phisically travel the map and enter the multiple dungeons through multiple places, and doors, and caves ... or if dungeons are a magical place like rifts that you go through a magic portal.

I believe they are actual entrances on the map. No idea if there is a fast-travel mechanism to get to them instantly.

Yes,, u just enter the dungeon with out a party and u wont see anyone unlike the world map

so the endgame now is from 3:40 till 5:08 that means they will be a form of AH or those are the only items that can be trade and that means there will be ppl who gona farm the living shit to get gold and maybe some $$$ irl :)))

The more I read and watch about D4 the more it sounds like D2 2 which is fantastic news. I love D3 but it was definitely a shift towards arcadey from it's predecessor

So far I'm living everything I hear. Even the contribution topics like trading I side with blizzard on. I don't want 3rd party sites running the economy. Bind on pickup for high gear means you did the leg work and earned it.

Are y’all able to reveal when the nda is over? Watching my favorite content creators try to act like they don’t know something and walking around these land mines of info is becoming annoying 😅. We watch you guys everyday or whenever new content pops. We know the difference after all these years. I know everybody is itching to cover anything about d4

Basically Keep Depths rifts with bounty objectives and a lot of backtracking. Sounds incredibly boring.

@@sighfly2928 Rifts with bounty objectives are literally a D3 reskin. I want something fresh and new, not some generic uninspired stuff. Lost Ark has real dungeons and raids, PoE has craftable maps, delve, heist... D3 has bounties and rifts and D4 has bounties inside rifts. I was gonna pre-purchase the game, but after these videos from people who played the beta I will wait until they come up with some stuff that belong in a 2023 game.

At this point, I firmly believed that they just smashed WoW and Diablo 3 together. Took out the goods and left in the bads. Why the hell should someone be ok with wasting 30 mins in dungeons just to get the ever shitty RNG loot? 1. If they gonna follow the traditional "everything random drop" of Diablo then dont make this a slow ass game where you have to plan out your skills just to kill a white mob. Make it so that we can blast thru shits as fast as possible so we can spam farm the shits we need. 2. If they gonna try the WoW approach to slow things down then there needs to be loot tables for every dungeon. Then at least the time wasting isnt as bad since you know for sure that particular dungeon has the piece you need. Just like wow dungeon and raid. My god, stop with the idea of slowing shits down. We live in a time of convenient and speed.

The man _just_ said that dungeons/mobs have loot tables so you can target farm certain items... And no, making everything as fast and brainless as possible just to appeal to people with the attention span of a jar of mustard was the problem with D3.
