In this powerful and candid talk about tolerance, inclusion, and empathy, Dr. Kristen Donnelly shares a new perspective on how we think about tolerance in our lives and how important it is to use intersectional, inclusive hospitality as our worldview, so that we can ultimately and finally come together as a global humanity. Kristen Donnelly (MSW, M.Div, PhD) is an empathy educator, speaker, and researcher with two decades of experience in helping people understand the beauty in difference, and the power in inclusivity. She is one of The Good Doctors of Abbey Research, COO of their parent company, and an unapologetic nerd for stories of change. Kristen lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, where they are surrounded by piles of books and several video game consoles. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Dr. Kristen Donnelly is sharing something of great value and importance in this powerful talk. It isn't adequate to simply "tolerate" differing views, opinions and people. We must learn to be truly inclusive of everyone in order to advance our world and our experiences. Such an amazing talk!

One of the most powerful, insightful and inspirational talks on inclusion I've heard in a long time. Making inclusion and equality the goal will be a total game-changer and render the results that have evaded us in our quest for global humanity. Brava Dr. Donnelly!

Every time I watch this, I get goosebumps. This idea has totally changed my perspective on what we mean when we say diversity and inclusion. We've been practicing radical hospitality ever since you took that stage and it's been a wonderful and challenging ride. Hard to imagine a talk we need more than this one right now.

"Diversity is reality, inclusivity is the goal, and tolerance is the cheap imitation of both" has been ringing in my head since I first heard you say it. Thank you for this powerful and oh so important message. One we all need more than ever these days.

What a disaster, almost filled up the entire bingo card with all of her dystopian incoherence . Check out Scribe Light’s response video in his “TedExcellence” series to see how bad of a failure this talk was. Reminds you to invest in boxed wine, car food, and depression medication stock.

@@AbbeyResearch Look up Scribe Light’s response video that was streamed live yesterday. Hopefully it will give you some insight and point out errors in your logic that you’ve somehow gotten to this point in life without realizing.

We all know that every single one of the positive comments on this video are just your friends in your echo chamber of delusion blowing smoke up your you-know-what. It’s nice to see that your toxic ideas have now been platformed on a wider public forum so they can be scrutinized and laughed at.
