Fnatic can in fact not request account data from riot. If riot were to give that information that would be a violation of so many EU laws it wouldnt even be funny. And breaking the terms of service of the game that is your livley hood is the dumbest way to get kicked from your team.

While I find his actions deplorable, I believe he is acutely aware of them. Personally, I don't think it's justified to terminate his long-term partnership with Fnatic years later, given that his recent work has been completely unrelated to his past. Fnatic appears to lack a strong commitment to supporting its employees: Superficial endorsements when he consistently delivers victories for them.
@Rokusu

Been a month, but no it is actually very commong to terminate contracts with people if their background isn't good, not good includes pretending to be a pedophile for online clout, it should not be expected that fnatic would want that as a part of their business that lives off of sponsors, not coaches. Get real.

@@Rokusu Perhaps you misunderstood my point: I understand the reasoning behind the decision and I personally, as well as you and everyone else, including him I would imagine, acknowledge his wrongdoing. But I also personally believe that online messages from a pubescent Teenager don’t reflect the work of an adult. The organization FNATIC can still distance themselves from the messages, punish him, fine him, time him out, while standing behind him as a professional employee if his work is flawless. I respect if you disagree.
@AveSicarius
@AveSicarius 8 ай бұрын
@@Rokusu People can change completely in just a year or two, let alone from a young teen to a mature adult. It's like a company firing an ex-con years later after being completely reformed despite a perfect work record and no infractions whatsoever. Your employment should be based on your current performance and conduct, not something you did years ago that has zero relevance to the current day. Punishing people years on from behaviour they have moved on from is not conducive to reformation, and it actively discourages people from trying to change because they are actively punished their entire lives for mistakes made long ago. Vv2 apparently does not behave the same way, he is not continuing down the same path, as some players have done, and this has no relevance to his current life. Especially as he has publicly acknowledged this and is obviously remorseful of what has happened. It would be like Twitch banning RatIRL or other L9 members years on despite radically changing their behaviour. It's more understandable in cases with utterly deplorable behaviour that has not been acknowledged or changed, with no evidence of reformation, it is not understandable in cases where problematic behaviour has been addressed. Would you like to be let go from your current employment because some random event from your past, that has no reflection on your person today, disagreed with your employer? I would think not... This was a PR move entirely, and while Fnatic is perfectly in their right to do so it is neither ethical nor is it a positive move for the community or their business.
@Rokusu

i just find it so weird how league players will forever defend hashinshin despite all the screenshots proving he did edp445 type stuff; meanwhile all veigarv2 did was do very inappropiate jokes as an edgy 17 year old.
@WishAAAProductions
@WishAAAProductions 8 ай бұрын
CP jokes is not "just inappropiate" jokes. It can have severe effects on people. We're just too desensitized from being online a lot. In real life it could have dire consequences. I do believe in a second chance, but just throwing PDF jokes and sexual harassment under the rug because it's in the past is just wrong. From what I've seen, it actually looks like Veigar V2 did mature a lot, but attacking Fnatic for kicking someone with a history of pedo jokes is just not the right take. They have their full right to distance themselves from such a history, however fair you think it would be for them to give Veigar V2 another chance. I do hope for his success in the future, now that it seems like his past has been somewhat cleared.
@bigbobe

Let's take a look at actual careers for a second: say you worked a standard office job and one of your colleagues stumbled upon your twitter account, scrolled down a bit, and saw cp jokes tweeted by you on there. Do you think they would think 'oh he was just a kid' or do you think they would be taken aback and disgusted? The fact is that 99% of the time it will be the latter. Upon reporting this to the manager, do you think that the manager would brush it off and allow you to keep working at the company? What if one of the company's clients saw these tweets? People who grow up in these toxic gaming communities don't realise how far they sit outside of the social-norm of what is acceptable. In the 'real world' this behaviour is unacceptable and simply wouldn't been excused - regardless of how old you were when you did it.

Hey Deestinyer here. I did not know he worked for Fnatic prior to all my interactions with my friend. Yes my friend mentioned some association, it was many years ago now so I don't know. I said he made pedophilic comments BEFORE I knew he was involved with FNATIC in any way, you can even see this in your screenshots. The matter of fact is I revealed this allegation prior to me knowing he was involved with FNATIC. I provided screenshots to prove what I was saying was true, and I honestly did not expect people to blow it up and start tagging the organisation to get him cancelled. You have to remember I never made a call out post. As time went on, I deleted all screenshots and tweets but it was already too late. I then made a twtlonger to form my thoughts on the whole thing. I reacted the way I reacted initially because this was to do with my younger sister, whom I am very protective of. Imagine being in my shoes for a second and tell me you wouldn't blow up at someone who made such comments about your younger sibling. Anyway, you're all entitled to your own opinions but I think it's incredibly unfair for someone to re surface this drama for content and then accuse me of trying to effectively clout chase, or intentionally ruin his life. If I wanted to do this, I would have made a big call out post and asked people to share far and wide. I could have EASILY made things a lot worse for him. Instead, we reconciled and I think he's a really cool guy. I try my best to defend him when I see people shit talk him and falsely accuse him of being something he's not. I'm just saying it exactly as it was, and explaining my thought process. Thanks. @@hazmat1

Hello, nice to meet you. Please note that in this video, the only implicit criticism I have of you is posting those images online in a public forum. It seemed like you had no regard for the effects of what this can do. In the twitlonger, you also admitted that this was a mistake of yours (I think?). I also think that I represented your POV fairly in this video otherwise. From researching this whole topic, it's hard to establish a timeline fully since the original tweet was deleted AFAIK. Thank you for shedding some light on your POV more indepth, but I still think that you deserve some criticism. You were young, you did a mistake, it's whatever. Same goes for V2, and what he did was also F'd up. "I think it's incredibly unfair for someone to re surface this drama for content and then accuse me of trying to effectively clout chase, or intentionally ruin his life" - I judge people by their actions. From knowing your POV now, I have a more informed opinion on this matter, but based on the stuff I had at hand and all the information that was available to me throughout my research, it looked like a very very weird act do just randomly post those images online especially when what he did was several years ago. It does look like you were trying to do something to his career. Lastly, this is all publicly available information on the internet. The shit that happens can be found by anyone online. I don't restrict myself based on whether I am "resurfacing" drama. It's interesting history, stories to explore togehter with a lot of contextual stuff missing. People to this day still think that Veigar V2 is a PDF (Neace is one example, simply because of this whole incident with you). We also have other issues that lacks a clear context or public understanding of drama such as the Elosanta-Dantes drama or how people still think Hashinshin is cleared simply because FBI "investigated" him. I also do not think im reurfacing any drama, this was a small segment of VeigarV2 career, telling his story. @@dee327

I really like your videos, and I'm not sure if it's "just" your way of writing the scripts for these videos, but the only thing that i would comment on is: it feels like you're taking these people a little too much into defence. I agree, people should have a second chance, but the way this stuff can ruin peoples lives is really not talked about enough. Sure, for some individuals it's just making a "edgy" joke as a "shit-kid", but I've had a best friend commit suicide because she was molested as a child, and a lot of people was joking about pedophelia around her in highschool. She just couldn't take how it meant nothing for them and she even wrote a letter to them saying she doesn't blame them, but begged them to stop it in the future, because of how it affected her. It's a lot more dangerous than the average gamer/online kid knows. So please take it more seriously when joking about stuff that could have detrimental affects on people. I know Marius from personally having to deal with him. Some other friends of mine and I from the Veigar mains discord server have been harrassed and also ddosed due to simple disagreements about the game and other things. Iirc this was in 2017-2018. I do think he has bettered himself since then, but i doubt he has done a full "recovery". A few years later the friends i mentioned got into contact with him again and he rejoined the discord server after being kicked off due to obvious reason. He didnt really interact much with us at that time and i think eventually left again. the problem is not lol here. even 5 years ago, people were so edgy. all of 1990-2000s kids grew up with very toxic, racist, edgy communities playing very competitive games like lol dota or cod. and so the toxic side comes up faster. i do not defend pedophilia in anyway, but when we were young we said very wrong stuff bc everyone else said it and it fed a vicious cycle. kids were edgy and trying to elicit a reaction, any type of it.

actually being young is an excuse lmao and a valid one as theyre not raised well or anything and to become mature then and know that u made mistakes , besdies for all you know its fake accounts and alligations its funny how a random person comes out say someone is a pedo and then say oh its not my intent to ruin their career lol , besides people who go to jail come out and there is places where they get 2nd chances i dont see how its any different , he grew up with the internet being like that and whats done in the past shouldnt matter if its nothing serious , as u can see the nat person is fine so i wouldnt be surprised if she shit talked them and they shit talked her back lmao

@@jenzu4229 Thinking/acting like pictures are doctored is a wild cope. There is a ton of documentation for both of their horrible actions and behaviors. I agree false accusations are a problem but that isnt the case here. People who kill others and go to jail often lose a large portion of their lives as repentance, but even in that case, going "They were young they didnt know murder or drunk driving was that bad" is not an excuse at all. They dont just get a magic reset when theyre out of jail. For example, you wouldnt see someone charged with pedo shit come out on the other side as a elementary teacher. Their charges follows them around for the rest of their lives. Like I said above, shit talk is one thing. Mother fucking, youre such a xyz, and whatever else. I lived through that time like most of us, I made exactly 0 real life threats and 0 pedo comments. Grabbing IP's and hunting down addresses and, going to their family pictures (which were not just sitting in a league lobby, he had to hunt them down on social media) saying "I want to splurge on your pretty little 7y/o sister" isnt shit talk, Its real life threats and actions. Theres a reason Ddossing is Federally Illagal. Saying the victims fine so it probably wasnt bad is a gross sentence/implication that you should reflect on. Im curious tho, if pedo comments outside of the game "are nothing serious" what constitutes serious?

I disagree. You know people go to jail after comitting crimes, but they get out eventually and you have to live with them in society. Some things you can forgive considering what punishments you got.
