I used two Jiffy Pop bags in a low expansion container heated by a micro nuclear fusion device; it didn't quite get all the dent out, but it did reduce the car to its original iron ore pellets and aluminum ingots. Sweet...

I had a local fellow repair the roof of my Tacoma before I sold it, a rouge roof rack at 120 kmh did a number on it, about 20 dents and creases GONE, I was amazed, it took him about 5 ½ hours, I’m sold on paintless repair, but yes this guy has thousands upon thousands of hours of practice!

Sarah! I'm a 23yr PDR tech and I am the owner of the Blackplague PDR brand of Tabs and TabWeld PDR glue. That was absolutely the BEST DIY review for PDR I have EVER WATCHED! Usually, I cringe at all statements from the tester, but you nailed every statement. It absolutely is the tech and not the tools when it comes to PDR. BUT when the techs know what they're doing, the proper tools are VERY important. Thank you for giving such a fair and informed review to the public! You rock

As far as garage content: whatever if it's easy for you to make content with, do it. I think your fans just love watching you do your best to get these projects done. My wife says you are adorable with your hair up. I like watching you work on little projects like this. It's educational, and you are fun. You obviously have training and experience, but you don't come off as a know it all, or talk down to your audience like some car channels do. I recently traded in my warhorse 2005 Dodge Durango for a more recent Chevy sedan, and I've been doing little projects on it to get it how I want it. I installed a dashcam/backup cam, had to notch a licence plate frame to make it compliant with Canadian tag placement, painted my badges a Carbon Mist black, and used a Gilded Brass to put life into the grill. The next projects are swapping the lug nuts (easy), using a high temp paint on the brake calipers (medium effort), and sanding and touch-up painting a couple small rust spots on the roof above the windshield (Nerve racking, as it's very visible if I botch it). It's all super easy stuff, but most of my history on vehicles was as a tire installer and oil changer, or holding a flashlight and getting yelled at as a kid, so each project has a slight learning curve. It's not like with the Durango, where I installed a trailer hitch or ran lines to fix the windshield washer sprayers. Those were all just basic jobs, the kind I'm used to, but messing with paint and electronics... outside my wheelhouse, as it were. You do you, and we'll all be here to ride along with you.

Yep auto body repair work is definitely an ongoing learning process, that requires a lotta patience; I'm still learning auto body repair and patience with it. I have learned what I have learned through experience just like you have. Lets face it not everyone can afford to have a pro do this kind of work. (At least you made an improvement on the car.) One day I'll have a big barn building out in the country with plenty of seclusion, instead of my invisible garage here at the apt complex in the parking lot, complete with tons of cross ventilation...🤪 Have fun; stay safe and well, and never stop learning an attempting things; that is after all how you became experienced in mechanical work...😎

Depending on the size of the dent and the area, you could also use a plunger. Make sure to protect the areas where the outside will touch the paint to prevent tiny scratches. Worked for me! More Sarah content is always welcome, no matter sorting a garage or plucking eyebrows. As long as we get back to the damn cars straight after those vids. Good job on the Focus.

Garage mods FTW! Make the videos and we'll watch. Thanks for the info in this dent video. Looks totally worthwhile to spend some time improving a vehicle if you don't need it to be perfect. And BTW, harnesses and connectors are not the same thing. Harness is the whole set of wires and connectors for a system or area of a car. Where it plugs in is just called a connector (among other things, but not a harness).
