Looks great! The needles are so tough, they should be good. I have Sabal minors, needles and windmill palms here in the Philly area.

Just found your channel. The only worry I would have concerning the needle palm is once the leaves are wet they can be trouble. it would be better to keep the leaf cage dry with a cover.

The plastic fencing appears to stand up pretty well and doesn't look too flimsy. I hope it works! Maybe your mom can send pictures in May after she uncovers them.

I love this idea but when you remove the netting in may what do you do with leaves. Or can you make a video of removing the netting. Love following you so very helpful

I would absolutely make a video, but I will not be home when that needs to be done. My town picks up bagged leaves and other yard waste, so we’ll just bag it up and put it on the curb. I’d love to start a compost pile as well
