You’re a very humble guy! I do believe a 4.9 gpa means you’re a pretty smart and gifted student though.The fact that you played sports, helped out in your family’s restaurant, started your own business, and already have a strong interest in the business field shows that you’re a very hard-working and driven individual.

Congrats (and happy late birthday!). Out of curiosity, did you talk a lot about your side hustles in your essays and mention how you got banned on some platforms? I've submitted my applications, but I feel like I could've really talked about one of my side hustles more but failed to do so. I'm hoping I can mention it in my interviews, if that means anything.

haha thank you for birthday wish! I didnt talk at all about my side hustles in my essays, but I spent most of my interviews talking abt it bc my interviewer was interested about it. Generally, the interview will add more into your application so I'd definitely bring it up. Hope that helps and good luck!👍

definitely! It takes a lot of dedication and initiative to write, edit, and publish a book - i'd say you'd probably learned some lessons along the way as well so it's a major bonus :)

Congrats on Harvard! Interested in business like you. Did you list the courses(such as the google one) as awards on the honors page, or ec's. if it was an activity, did you just like merge all the courses and certifications you got?

I listed them as my ec's, I'd group similar ones together like marketing related, graphic design, etc. Hope that helps and thank you so much!

Hey! your videos are motivating and inspiring. I have interest in business like you and I am planning to initiate my own business this year(I'm sophomore currently). What grade did you started your business for both eBay and lunchbox? And how many hours per week did you put on your common app?

hey there! thank you so much for your encouraging comments :) I started both my businesses during the end of my sophomore year during the quarantine period. On the common app, I've put 55 hours across the two (10 for ebay and 45 for lunchbox). Since the pandemic was going on, I definitely had more time to put forth in these activities. Quality work > quantity, hope that helps

I started the summer leading up to my senior year. Its a pretty straight-forward process, and they will walk you through it when you make an account. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! And yes I did apply for financial aid, but Harvard is need-blind so they wont take it into consideration when you are applying. Hope that helps!

Hey there, I did not take any Harvard summer classes so I dont know much about them or eligibility. Im sure it's expensive though so I'd suggest looking into taking free courses online. Hope that helps, ciao!

Haha yep, it doesnt matter as much especially now. Harvard recently announced they are getting rid of required testing for the next 4 years so thats a major plus lol.

Harvard only has need-based financial aid so there's no way to apply for it based on merit. Hope that helps!

Bruh lol they don’t care. It stinks but that’s how it is. I’ve made near six figures in business have a near perfect SAT & GPA, 13 AP classes, school treasurer, 2 varsity sports clubs, internships, jobs and yes I wrote great essays

Sorry if I came off as rude there, I was tired and didn’t complete my thought. I applied ED to another school and got rejected. The whole process is so random and kinda sucks tbh. If you are a hard worker, it doesn’t matter where you end up, you will be successful.

Success is all about hard work, not which school you go to. I’m stuck in the same situation, I want to go to a top school. When it comes down to it, it doesn’t matter.
