About 3 weeks into going KETO I remember waking up laughing one night, it was as if the happy light was turned on. Brain fog was gone, and inflammation nearly gone, and I'm a Great Grandma!

I can identify with the disappearance of food cravings, mine was sudden, about 4 weeks into Ketovore . I had a hard day babysitting, was tired and thought I’d reward myself with a tiny chocolate caramel flavored custard cone. Just a mini cheat you understand. On my way to the custard stand, my mouth started watering for a big fat juicy hamburger…which had on my dinner menu so I headed home, had two bun less burgers (back then I had to use lettuce wraps, not now) and NEVER needed the custard treat. I was totally satisfied. For 40 years my low fat, calorie restricted plant based diet had set me up for failure. I consider a cheat day now 9 chocolate chips (65% cacao) thrown in my Two Good yogurt (1/2 a container) with a handful of raw nuts with heavy cream whipped with a tiny bit of stevia. I weigh now what I weighed in high school, I am 67 going on 17! Thanks to Dr Ken Berry and nurse Neisha!

I'm 77, went Carnivore, and had the runs for 18 weeks except 2 days, then suddenly normal. I was about 3 weeks in when suddenly I was no longer hungry and forgetting to eat. At about 6 weeks I did a 72 hour fast. with no problem. By 12 weeks I was no longer having joint pain. Carnivore is amazing. I hadn't been sleeping for months, maybe a year. Had been very depressed and angry. My Hashimotos is better, seldom depressed, no longer on antidepressants, not sure where the anger went.

@@ForsterTKH So to you it is more important to to see numbers written down on a paper than listen to your body's reaction to better health! Wow! Guess you can't decide if a sunset is beautiful because someone didn't write it down on a paper for you! If you want analytics then go look for the medical specialists who can write you a paper. These comments are from real women, and real men too, who are stating how much better they feel when following these different dietary habits. The majority of people love their lives by how they feel today and tomorrow, not by waiting for a chemical report to tell them IF they are feeling good today! Stop being such a pucker puss! Try it for a couple weeks! What harm will 'befall' you other than finding out that you feel better than you did before!

a month into Keto and when working outside cutting and moving firewood etc, I would like run into a wall, had zero energy left and had to stop work, a few months later and I can just work and work, I end up stopping and still have energy left, used to be if I worked hard one day, next day I was all aches and pains, now I may get a bit achy right after hard work, but next day I am right back to normal, I'm 70

Excellent... I'm 68 so this is encouraging... Most of my life I worked Construction and had energy to burn all day... I had a whole slew of medical issues. Since leaning more toward keto carnivore I have tapered off of almost all my medications and feel better than when I was in my early 20's. This way of eating really does work. I was buying into the whole..."wholefood plant based" hype for almost 2 decades. Just kept getting sicker and sicker. It makes me so mad that people are being lied to about their health.

I can't believe how easy it is for me to continue being in ketosis. BUT it was very difficult for me to get there - well worth the effort. Feeling stable every day, not being ruled by food, not suddenly running out of energy, getting rid of inflammation in my body. I love everything I eat. Now, if I feel tired I just have a cuppa and sit for a short while and I start reviving. No going back for me!

My hashimoto story is so similar, depression & anxiety. I’m much older and was dealing with chronic menopause and what I thought was fibromyalgia chronic pain, and lipolymphedemia. It took me about three months to start feeling better. The brain fog was the first to go. And little by little I started getting my life back. I don’t have the body pain anymore. I get pain back if I eat night shades or too many carbs. It wasn’t fibromyalgia as Dr. Berry explained. And definitely the lower the carbs (under 20) the less hungry. 14 months now and an entirely new person. Can you imagine going through 2020 with all of that sickness! So very grateful to be here.😊

I have Hashimotos as well, which I'm told is unusual for a man. I took myself off the meds last year after only a couple months on them and have been mostly carnivore since January of this year. I have an appointment to get my bloodwork again in 2 weeks. Yesterday (March 27th) I woke up full of energy. I cleaned up the house some, did several loads of laundry and even exercised. Today I've got energy again and have been doing the same things. After months of being unable to do much of anything, it's been fantastic.

excellent testimonial... i also had serious problems with brain fog. I used to eat tones of bananas, dates and dried fruits, rolled oats, protein bars etc... thinking that because they were natural they were "healthy". I had a compulsive hunger hours after meals, I had severe bouts of anxiety and severe burnout. I felt that something was very wrong with my mind and Extreme difficulty in concentrating on very simple things. After watching videos and read the studies about this subject and research metabolic effects of the brain. I suspected the bizarre amount of sugar intake on my diet and decided to severely restrict my sugar intake using a source of good fats as a source of Calories .. and boom! Everything changed in my life

I have always had so much will power that kept me from being morbidly obese like my father & 3 sisters. I became super strict and obsessive over food and exercise. Seriously I was miserable and the struggle was consuming! I should have been diagnosed with an eating disorder but nobody KNEW about that back in the 70’s! I came to keto for some help managing anxiety and depression and I’m doing much better since I transitioned to ketovore. I agree with you so much. I have been on carnivore / keto for 2 months now. My memory is so much better. I'm 53 and was so worried wondering what was going to happen to me as I got older. Dementia and all. I use to have to write EVERYTHING down. Now I don't have too nearly as much and I feel normal again. My energy levels have totally changed. I run up the stairs again. Lost 16 kilos so far. Hardly have any cravings too. I enjoy this way of eating and not feeling deprived at all. I feel it's totally sustainable. Make my own mayonnaise now with MCT oil and it tastes amazing. Making lots of stuff I never thought I would before. I don't have a sweet tooth so I'm good with that. My only craving is pizza to be honest. But I can handle it. Not fighting myself over it either. Feeling great. Glad you are too.

I've been intermittent fasting on regular carb rich diet for 2 months and suspect my insulin level is better. I recently added Keto 2 weeks ago and have also seen the energy coming up noticeably. I also noticed the brain fog lifting, didn't even realize I had it, but the increase in clarity of thought is significant. The biggest bonus so far is the lowering of my blood pressure. I take meds for high blood pressure, but my pressure was going too low and I was dizzy a lot. I stopped taking the meds 3 days ago and now my blood pressure is normal.😁

I didn’t see weight loss for about 2 months. But I little by little started feeling better. I joined the pateron group and they kept telling me to stay the course. They promised that it gets better. I binge watched Dr. Berry. And watch the zoom with him and Neisha. I’m a different person today. I could hardly walk from room to room because I hurt so bad and was overwhelmed all the time.I had no idea that I could have the energy that I have now! 85 lbs down and chronic pain is gone. I’m no longer desperate, but so encouraged and hopeful and I’m younger at age 60 then I was at 40. You won’t regret staying the course. I PROMISE!😊

I have Hashi's along with endometriosis, bilateral nerve entrapment to both legs. Brain Fog also did me in. I am a RN too, losing my ability to debate with other health professionals devastated me. The pandemic, after working 14 days in a row when it first hit, pushed me over the edge. I had to stop working and go on long term disability. I never knew the pain that can come with Hashimoto's. I am five weeks in full carnivore (after that pain you would be an idiot to eat that toxic food again) haven't "cheated" once. Except for the pain in my legs (I go for pain med infusion tomorrow, I have experienced a huge increase in my energy and motivation. Before my legs got worse this past week, I was going out each day! I had more energy then I have since 2015. That is a huge event for me. I was in such a bad space I was jealous of those who could walk, ride a bike etc, I wanted to just die. I had to find something that could make me feel better. Carnivore has literally saved my life. Dr Berry, Kelly Hogan and you Neisha have given me the motivation to keep going. Thank you!

Thank you! I have Hashi's and brain fog is a huge problem. There is a disconnect between what I intend on saying, and what comes out is way different and makes me sound "dumb." Which I am not either, lol. I have been watching my carbs over the last couple of months and experienced good weight loss. I switched to full Keto today. Wish me luck! Last time I tried Keto I got horrible leg cramps at night and had to stop. I have learned since then, and am well-armed with electrolytes!

I've had panic attacks like that since I was 9 years old. I'm 40 now. I'm hoping for keto to help me like that.

Remember to take Vitamin D3 and K2-7 along with eating lots of salad greens everyday for minerals and vitamib C. You also need omega 3,s.

I use to have these panic attacks too, thinking I can't breathe and I'm going to die from not getting my air! I haven't had one in a long, long time. I do mostly carnivore, kind of ketovore. It really helps, and so many other things it helps too.

Hi Wendy, can you tell me how you did with Keto? I'm entering a new phase and want to start with Keto and then head in to carnivore. Any feedback would be appreciative. Thanks, Rob

Good video Neisha!! Keeping info simple but powerful. Your story is my story. I am 68. have been keto/carnivore for 15 months, started keto for extreme inflammation and pain. Later diag with 2 auto immune (PMR and PN) I am under doctor care with meds and its all working for me. But staying keto and fasting is the best part for help in pain and inflammation and carb sugar craves gone! Like Dr. berry and Dr. berg says "fix your diet first and that will start healing in your body" so true, so true. Keto is not a diet, it is a way of life. Sugar, carbs run thru your blood and cause so much damage to your nerves and the pain will show up in auto immune, my feet killed me for 3 yrs of pain!! Give up sugars, carbs. I am adding b12 and nutrition yeast now to help with the nerve damage that was done and continue my doctors care, last visit he said stay with the keto course it will help you. I went from 182 lbs in 2019 to 164 now, still hoping I can lose a few more pounds but not pushing that, just staying the course with keto and IF and my body will decide what's best. Love you, Mean it!! your sweet

thank you so much- You are so REAL and Honest! I have struggled with several autoimmune disease's triggered by a high blood pressure pill that gave me LUPUS. am 76 - my hubby of 54 yrs dropped dead 6yrs ago- I have RA which from what I understand from cardiologist is RA can create plaque in arteries-- my right caroid had to have surgery. Had a minor stroke and with this much mental fog and inflammation which I NOW see is due to my diet. I had went on a Plant based diet and lost 30lbs. Then got so could NOT eat Kale, many of my fav veggies. AM SO GRATEFUL to have found you and your dear hubby. It is slowly changing my world.

I have diabetes and hashimotos and 45 pounds overweight and approaching 50. I recently had Covid but it was the fatigue that took over more than the actual virus. I’ve been watching your videos and I’ve decided to start ketovore. Thanks so much for giving me the push I’ve been needing for the past five years. I’m so sick of feeling sick

I relate so much to this. I am 51 menopausal, prediabetic, and I have hypothyroidism and need to lose 45 lbs. A year ago I came down with shingles and debilitating fatigue. All these conditions make losing weight impossible, but seeing a similar struggle in someone else means I am not alone. I am right there with you sick and tired of being sick and tired. Best of luck on your journey!

I started keto back in January. I felt horrible the first week, a really bad case of the keto flu but at the same time, I noticed that most of my chronique pain was gone. That’s what motivated me to stick with it since I didn’t do it for weight loss but I’m happy about the weight I have loss in the belly area 😁.I also have much less anxiety. The quality of my life has improved so much ! Thank you for your informative and heartfelt video .

Your story has helped me so much! Thank you for sharing your experience. I actually wanted to die getting off carbs. I didn’t realize what was happening to my body. I finally feel relieved that there was such a thing called keto flu. Two trips to the ER and my daughter is the one who said I think you have keto flu. All I did was try to cut out cereal. Not realizing the effects it had on my body

My story is similar to yours. One of the biggest difference to your story is that I always had painful migraine everytime I indulged in a little bit of fatty food. The kind of headache that eventually made me incapable of doing any work and incapable of thinking about anything other than the throbbing pain in my head. This made me more serious to look for an alternative lifestyle (even though I had always maintained a healthy lifestyle). I had always eaten half the portion of rice of the people around me. Now I just don't eat rice at all. I'm so thankful! :)

I know this is old, but I have been watching all of them and Dr Ken and it's very inspiring. Ive been healing myself with brain rewiring as I feel allergic to life , live issues, gallbladder issues, interstitial cystitis, fibromyalgia and all the typical " autoimmune/ inflammatory" disorders that nobody can actually help, just mask symptoms of. While I know it isn't recommended, I went mainly carnivore rather cold turkey 2 weeks ago and I can't even begin to say how good I feel, and I've had chronic pain for 5 years now! Too much energy, and only time I had crippling pain was when I indulged in a healthy "candy" on Saturday, and next day I was in so much pain!! Thank you for the effort of doing the videos as they are inspiring.

Hi from California! Great video, you and your hubby are my new favorites! I just started my journey about a month ago. I’m still tweeking some things, I haven’t lost any weight since I was paleo and lost 20 lbs. now more ketovore and I stalled the weight loss. Still have brain fog, pain and insomnia and cravings sometimes. My goal is to lose 80 more lbs. so I won’t give up but it has been a month since I’ve lost anything.
