How i recreate Anthills for Horned Lizards | Wild Replication

2 ай бұрынThis video shows how I built and set up my Ant feeder for my Horned Lizards!
Everything you need is:
A small Storage Container
A Drill with a Drill bit ( A Step drill works best)
A piece of PVC Pipe where the Ants or Insects can fit through
Hot glue, Sandpaper, Grout or Tile pointing, Substrate from your enclosure
and a small stick for the outlet.

Your standard of care for these animals is unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it. You clearly have a great love and respect for nature and the lizards. I'm very grateful to you for sharing your process and attention to detail. This species is becoming more and more popular in the hobby and I feel that too many keepers aren't experienced enough to properly provide for the horny toads. This is important content. Thanks for the praise! Just doing my part on conservation with writing articles and releasing some videos. I try to be the standard for keeping horned lizards the best as possible with replicating the desert for them.

That's brilliant :) Where did you find your horned lizards, I have been looking the past few years off and on and have not found any.

Thank you, they were very common in the 90s and 2000s in Germany but not many where able to keep them alive or breed them. Mine are from my own line i kept since then and from other keepers around Europe.
