Honestly, the amount of pressure Maddie probably had to go through. From Abby, gia, her own mom and everyone else. It was most likely pretty hard to be practically perfect throughout the whole show. Poor her. If she ever got 2nd place she would be upset... I know all the girls would but Maddie acted like she didn't place those times. She always was held at a high standard and to even calm down for a moment and have people surpass her was a no-go for her because Abby always made her to be "the perfect best dancer. Imagine the pressure!

Alisca Francois I agree it’s too much pressure on Maddie I feel bad. Yet she may get a lot of attention, she may act like she likes it but I can see that she doesn’t enjoy it! Her mum and Abby need to stop telling her to be “perfect” because no ones perfect she juts want to have fun at her dance class but Abby just keeps saying “be perfect” and other stuff it’s juts too much on maddie and it makes maddie look like she’s spoilt but truly she’s not she just tyres to hide how she really feels!...

I don’t agree with that. If she didn’t want to do this I think she would say can I take a break or can I not do this anymore. And in one of the seasons she said she loves doing this and she is better then everyone else.

Not saying straight up the competition was rigged but,take a look: -Maddie lost with a GREAT solo -The group lost -Kalani’s unaired Solo placed 1st in the duet/trio category -Nia’s solo music skipped -Kenzie’s unaired solo placed 4th and then 1st for a title that she wasn’t competing for -The award ceremony was all muddled up -It was 2 hours behind -And the promotional image was just something off google Idk it’s really just either they weren’t the best or It’s truly as rigged... Edit:Thanks to anyone that told me more of the stupid things that happened.

unregistered hypercam I’m sorry but I didn’t see her fall out of any turns. If you think doing turns into something is falling out of turns then you shouldn’t have made that comment because you are embarrassing yourself. And even if the facial expressions were ugly and dumb (which wasn’t) then at least she was able to use a facial expression while turning beautifully and did the turns correctly. And no Maddie is not my favorite girl from the show, it was chloe but the comment you made about Maddie was ridiculous and dumb.

This was my favorite Maddie solo other than Cry and Angel. Honestly, look at how simple and beautifully executed it was. Even the flick of her dress was done flawlessly. I will never ever disrespect judges, but these judges didn’t do the comparing.

No matter how much people love Maddie her solo WAS NOT as technical as Ava's solo this particular occasion. It is what it is. Maddie and Ava are over it and so should we. It was years ago lol.

I just want to say that Maddie solo was amazing even if she didn’t win first place but I think she won first place in everyone’s heart this song was a very touching song and she sold it with her face and emotions. A Dancer with no passion is nothing, that’s why Maddie is a true Dancer she dances with her heart and not her mind. That’s why Maddie has become famous nit really because of her techniques but mostly on her passion and emotions that makes her unique and special to everyone just seeing her dance could bring happy, sad or angry thoughts because she’s not only dancing to the music but she’s also telling a story through her dance. It was always a memorable time when I got to watch Maddie perform because she really connects with the audience and tells us the story she is telling or portraying, it’s been the best years watching Maddie grow up on the stage like how a caterpillar grows up into a beautiful and majestic butterfly. Maddie has truly earned her wings through out all these years, all the girls in dance moms have.

I think the main issue was that s5 nationals was a flop. Kalani one the duo trio overall for her solo and Mackenzie was 4th for solo age category one moment and 1st overall the next. At the competition they were giving out the wrong awards. Apparently they waited until the end but the show made it look as though they stormed off.

This dance was beautifully choreographed, her costume is amazing, and her energy is great but I just wish they used a different song. Her movements seem too aggressive for such a light sounding piece.

that competition was rigged trust because mckenzie and kalani got title they were not even competing for and nia music was purposely a bad disc because disc don't skip that way

You can really tell how staged these competitions are here. 4:58 shows a clear shot of the stage with an entire half of it filled with kids who were clearly pulled from the audience, and did not perform/compete. But... that's part of making a TV show I guess.
