yeah, glute size directly corelated with strength/output i assume. When i added glute stability and strength exercises my speed and ability to keep up speed changed drastically.

I am a white dude who played basketball through my 20s to 36 at present. Grandfather, father, uncles, cousins, brothers recite a mantra of our family cannot jump/explode. For the last 7 years I have lifted both for strength/hypertrophy. Without noticing at first there was a almost linear relationship with my DL, RDL, Deep Squat numbers and my vertical jump and 40yd time. Now I got people accusing me of having good genes 😂

@@timlamb1156 I coach some plyo for my athletes too but even then they expect something more like jump rope. Do jumpers and sprinters intend on doing it a high amount of times in one bout? Nah they explode and are done quickly. I love videos of good plyos.

The "glute size" is butt size, mostly due to fat mass. Even massive bodybuilders with round buttocks in the off season have roughly flat butts when lean for competition.

Throw gas on the fire here, I don't think she would actually time well in an actual 40 or 100, her form on the drills are ok, I find it very sus that Treadmill Sprints have any actual transference to Track Speed. I have never seen her do any sort of drive phase work and her ones where she has actually sprinted, she flicks her heels more than pulling them, and overall she looks like a powerlifter who is running. 12/10 on her glutes tho, holy moly

Treadmill is just used for low impact, injury mitigation. Also a good tool to for active recovery after a day(s) of outdoor sprinting.

For sure. As someone who runs a lot, treadmill is great for recovery runs. I can keep my speed steady and it's less impact as well while allowing me to get my run in.

It depends how do you perform the drills. On jump rope I do squat jumps, side jumps, high knees, butt kicks, ankle hops and so on.

I have been following her on social media for years. Back in 2018 her butt was flat, she used to train almost only with kettlebells. She made massive gains since she started heavy lifting again about 3-4 years ago.
