I would like to add one more point . Nunez too drops very very deep in the midfield . His workrate is exceptional . No wonder he has 14 assists all season

I think most people in Liverpool wouldnt swap him with Haaland anymore. His abilities outside of scoring are exceptional, his workrate and mentality too. Made a huge step this season and I can see him getting even better with time

I remember Balotelli, when Coutinho would look up and see him just standing there being marked, so he would have to pass backwards all the time, Nunez is the opposite, always making runs in behind

@@super_organist he's basically controlling the most significant part of football, the midfield and the presence of talented wingers means dragging and winning 1v1 situations, forcing opponents to have 2 players on a winger, which creates space for the dense amount of midfielders that they have to attack the box and pose threat as well. it's extremely difficult to face such dynamic structure

I don't mean to be too harsh on your summary of Liverpool's season, but pretending that Jota wasn't Liverpool's best player in Salah's absence is just ridiculous. Not talking about how dominant Liverpool were when Jota was healthy, but spending time talking about Elliot seems kinda of absurd to me.

@@kudakwashechikosi8046 I am not a Liverpool fan and I didn't watch every game. But if anyone watched Liverpool play in January and February, they would have noticed how impactful Jota was and how the team was playing really well without Salah, Robertson or TAA. Personally, I think Bradley has been way better player and more useful to Liverpool than TAA was when he was healthy. obviously, Trent is a better passer and crosser, but the motor and the intensity Bradley brings are for me more impactful in Klopp's success
@kudakwashechikosi8046
@kudakwashechikosi8046 Ай бұрын
@@DavidJCO I get your point, I personally agree that Bradley is more impactful than elliot and is better at RB than trent in that he is more defensive and has pace, but in terms of importance to liverpool trent is key because he is the source if creativity. McAllister has taken up that role recently but Trrent is still liverpool's creative engine
@DavidJCO
@DavidJCO Ай бұрын
@@kudakwashechikosi8046 I have had this thought for months now, that maybe Trent should be playing in the middle field once he is healthy, because his creativity is outstanding. But the trade-off defensively is so huge, that maybe just finding/buying a better middle fielder is a better solution for Liverpool in the long run

It is diabolical that despite the PGMOL openly declaring their error in the Spurs game, that nothing has been done to correct the injustice. An apology does not cut it. It is very easy to apologize, as it is mere words. There has been no consequences. No one has been fired and Liverpool have not been compensated appropriately. There really has been no rectification of that mistake from Liverpool's point of view. Just absolutely a farce.

3-2-2-3 to 2- 3-2-3 it's always 4 or 5 midfielders with wide wingers badly play as a natural right back while Gomez as the inverted left back into midfield with Endo to allow Macalister to be more advanced along with Szoboszlai. The problem here while Gomez is doing very good job tactically like the again Forest we've seen in this new role his technical abilities is limited when he's tasked to go forward with the ball from the midifled position

Bradley has proven not only he can defend and attack on the wing, he many times goes in and even have successful maruding runs into the final third. your analysis is bias towards Trent like so many dodgy football youtube channels. Trent is finished bcos he has an big bollocks attitude and does not want to commit himself to defending like he used to thus sabotaging the team....where even opposition team knows and kept attacking that area and dislodging the whole team play....affecting szobo AM role. Thats why with bradley, mecca and endo coming up our team finally is top of the league unlike the first half of the season. We are more balanced now and have no weakness in any area.

Saying this makes me want to throw up, but it seems like this is Liverpool’s title to lose. If they play properly, aren’t slow in their buildup, and don’t fall asleep at the back more than once per game, then there are only 2 matches in which they could drop points: Spurs at home and Villa away. As for us and Arsenal, although all our remaining games are winnable, there is obviously more chance of one or both of us dropping points to spurs away than Liverpool dropping points to spurs at home. And in the champions league, there are no easy games left. I’m just shamelessly hoping for another bottle job from both of them.
