My husband told me a month in that he wanted to marry me. We’d had an argument about something, and once things calmed down, I apologized for my tone and language, but not for my stance. I remember saying, “I don’t think that I’m wrong for my position on this, but I am wrong for the way I expressed my position and I apologize. I don’t want you speaking to me a certain way, and so I have no business speaking to you a certain way.” His response was, “I’m marrying you.” We’ve been together for 18 years 😂

“Dating is like laying concrete. If you allow everyone to walk on it when it’s drying all the footprints are on it.” Powerful. Asking God to block any unnecessary footprints that could cause damage, stagnate or extend the foundation poured out for me. Intentionality is what God has spoken to me.
@lhut5622

I don't get the analogy. Dating, not sleeping around, is helpful for your lasting relationship in the long wrong. You need the different experiences to grow and learn and be the best partner for your husband or wife.
@tiffanysquire3838
@tiffanysquire3838 Жыл бұрын
@@lhut5622 Not everybody is meant to be in your life. I seek God in everything, even those trying to date me. Some people have evil and unintentional interest in being with people. If it is not of God to have that individual in my life, then I don’t want it. Why put myself through unnecessary things when God s already saying no. Yes, I believe that some relationships will teach us some things but we must be intentional in asking God first, if that person is supposed to be there for a reason then allow it and if not then block it.

That’s likely a problem with how the man is treating his wife. Women are reciprocal; Whatever you sow, you reap. Women will become cheerleaders for a man who uses his energy, time and strength to lovingly and wisely lead the home. Anomalies are accounted for.

This is honestly highly valued for most men. Some call it stroking his ego but it's truly speaking to the king in him.. Women don't often understand how far this goes with a man. @Kay Kronicals …pardon me but this sounds like black Christian politics. The problems of black unwed women has become a crisis situation. Last time l checked the issue was nearly 40k black unwed women homeless. When the initial report came out it got submerged beneath the immigrant and migrant political agendas. Major cities are dealing with an influx (or infestation) of increasing homelessness. Older Black women have to step up to the plate and begin teaching younger BW in their families and communities that it’s a disgrace, dishonor and shame to lie down with a man before marriage. Older Black men have to come on board with the same message. This is the pandemic in the BC!!!

And let me just add that your future man may not be a strong man of God either...so dont be automatically put off if a man isnt into God the same way you are because you can miss out on good men. I'm not really into the God thing anymore myself (I used to be but not anymore) but my future wifey is and shes really into her praying etc. and i respect her for that because she never tries to impose her beliefs on me. I also understand where she is coming from having been a former christian so i dont try to change that about her and she loves me as I am! I say this because the Bible says never be unequally yoked but you will miss out on good men who may come your way if you follow these things to the tee.

My husband and I felt that we were a match on our first date. We waited to get married after saving for a home and a wedding, but totally would've married sooner. When you know you know.

There is volumes of therapy in what this young man is saying. For my God knows what I need and I know who I am. Men need to steer away from empty words and fake messages .

Ladies is DOES take a man long to know whether or not he sees you as THE ONE. To any beautiful woman reading this if a man is stringing you along especially for many years, LET HIM GO NOW! You are healthy happy and you know your value do you really want to beg a man to marry you? NO YOU DONT! What he won’t do another man WILL take care of yourself mentally spiritually and emotionally and cut off all dead weight, and do it today

Yes! I love the analogy used. 💪🏾 👏🏾 It gives context, will, and purpose. The Holy Spirit is our spiritual cornerman and the wife or husband is the cornerman in the flesh! God is so good and the wisdom he bestows on his people is so profound. 💃🏾🙌🏾

Wow! That was so powerful! "Everyone is not graced for me"‼️ You're not called for me‼️'Nough said❣️❣️God gives every man what he needs! I wonder what my husband needs? Maybe I am needed after all??? That would be Awesome ❣️ I noticed something about me that other women don't do! I used to wondered why I did it?🤔 I used to think I was always odd! 🤭 I guess I am in a way! 🤣🤣 My Mom used to tell me not to compare myself to others, all the time!! She would tell me to just be myself! Wait a minute!!! Wait a minute!! Oh my Goodness! 🤭🤭🤭 Is that why I had to listen to those f kids? I was wondering why it felt like I was being forced to listen to what they had to say? I kept wondering what does these PKs have to do with me? I was like I 'm not interested which is why I didn't tune to them on the first time they were scheduled to speak. Oh my Lord Jesus, my husband is a preacher! Oh dear! Lord help me Jesus!! Maybe the problem was me trying to cheer on the wrong man??? Maybe I was trying to encourage the wrong man? He was clearly not trying to do anything! It was a waste really! He didn't give me anything to work with! He staunched me! I can't really explain it! It was like coming to a dead end street! He didn't give me like anything to work with! It was crazy! He didn't like have any goals or dreams or anything! It was like he didn't want to do anything or accomplish anything! He clearly did not need me! That's for sure! I don't know how come he didn't have any?? You can't lose your dreams! You can't give up on your dreams! Wait a minute! Why do I feel like I am talking to myself? 🤣🤣 🤦🤦🤦

That last part! He thought I was a convenience store… I shut it down. He didn’t want to do anything with his life. He wanted me to take care of him. I put him out. He had no goals and if there was something he did want to do, he wanted me to sacrifice all my time, attention and resources to make sure he had it. When I dumped him he wanted to be a better man but slowly changed back to a boy months later. I found out he had a family behind my back. He wanted to have me in ways I never had him. Couldn’t come to him for nothing. Not even decision making. He was. It marriage material, found out he was just using women to get things. So glad I got out before my 30th but this guy wasted my time but I had lessons to learn but I was so mad at myself because I grew up in an abusive household where my father didn’t work and used us for government money and a meal ticket. And I lost my mother because of it. I wasn’t being abused but just the manipulative stuff because he refused to grow up he would start arguments just to stay out but he was living a double life. He thought he had time to figure out what he wanted to do but I cut that off. He was working and had his own of everything but quit and gave it up to try and live off me. He wanted me to wait until he figured it out and he was 42 with nothing to offer then he wanted to be in the music industry.

I knew my ex was a king. I also know im a queen. He didnt walk in this world as one, neither did he see my royalty. As s result we stopped meshing mentally emotionally spiritually and physically. We could have been awesome individually and collectively. Had to let it go. It was hard but as they say, one word from God can change your life and that word came thru my pastors wife during a Sunday service "yes the breakup was hard but im not upset anymore. God hid my value from you because you are not part of my destiny". I wish him well and i hope he wears his crown one day as he should. I am never taking mine off. ❤
