The end game is worth it though . I’m in my 30s and I’m a welder , but I really wish I would have done this out of high school

Their is this program for kids in Highschool where you take 2 summers in Highschool to take basically cet school and it’s so cool cuz it takes a year off. Hoping to get a scholarship when my time comes

My mom says during that 8 years you can already start working but there is people who helps you for that 8 years

Thank you for this. My parents have told me, my brother, and my sister that they’ll pay for 4 years of college each, no more. I’m still young, but knowing this will help me achieve my dreams of helping cats.

I'm a second year...😂we take a minimum of 5years vet school undergrad+1 year of compulsory resident internship 😅 then 3-4yrs in Post graduate..😂😂 it's good to know I'm not suffering alone....🎉🎉😂

Currently in 4th year of ug. Cant wait to join vet school next near. It must be so fun competing with people with different ug degrees all at the same battlefield waiting to get doctor of veterinary medicine in the end. Bring it on, show no mercy!

Don’t do it! That’s my advice to u. The pay sucks, the clients suck, the staff sucks, there is no appreciation for u or ur talent, the only things that don’t suck are the animals, but unfortunately they come attached to their sucky humans.

@@cleosdocbut can you only specialize in one animal tho, says birds only cause that's what i want to do. I'm not doing it as a career path, but more so doing it as a opportunity.

@@cleosdocdont crush people’s dreams. Alot of veterinarian experience is good Im gonna be one someday, but thats because i wanna help the animals. If you really want to do it, you’ll put up with annoying owners.

@@j.rjunior5584 i now do mostly surgeries, my problem is dealing with some of these pet owners, I have been doing this for over 20 yrs and the clients have taught me a lot about how low and shitty human beings can be so it has soured the love I used to have for this profession. But I stick w surgeries because I love doing them, I don’t have to deal w these horrible clients, I feel like I’m actually doing something beneficial to the animal and makes me feel good. I can do surgeries all day and come home not burned out and hopeless like I used to when I had to deal with pet owners. My advice is find a really really good mentor after vet school to work under that will teach u/help u how to navigate the madness that goes on in this business.

I don’t like videos like these. I understand it takes a while and it takes a lot of money but don’t word it that way. You should be encouraging people to want to become a vet. It almost comes off as arrogant
