I went over and the dude was laying there in shock with his ankle hanging on by skin and his bones all splintered out in a pool of blood. i rode home like a saint. made me think to much

I heard of similar injuries when people don't wear proper foot gear. Hopefully the surgeon was able to reattach that dude's foot...really can happen to any of us, proper gear or not.

Saw this coming. The entire rip community needs to mix up the locations. Many angry citizens will take the time to call later when they have cell service again. After enough repeated complaints, law enforcement will target the area heavy. Can't establish patterns. 👨‍👩‍👧 ❤

Max Wrist: Malibu, Mulholland, PCH, Police (CHP, LA County Sheriff, and Wilderness), mostly to be a speed deterrent, especially during Covid 19 slow down. They go where the speeders go. They don't have much more to do, and that is their specific assignment. Mostly the highly active roads. There are roads that they do not patrol. Ask around and you will find out the "quiet roads".

They have similar stings up here too. One time they road blocked me and when I pulled over the cop took my key out of the ignition and pointed up and said see that plane. I said yes and he said it has been following me the whole time I was riding. One of the officers asked me why I kept passing cars on the double yellow and I said because I'm just trying to stay a head of traffic to avoid getting rear ended. They sort of bought it and just wrote me a ticket for crossing the double yellow. They could have impounded my bike for recklessly driving and endangering other people's lives. Got off easy. Another time I got chased by cHp helicopter on HWY 101 but is a whole nother story. Lol. I live in northern California. I usually ride 128 through lake berryessa. Around here those are our roads.

Haha shit man, yeah I love riding the 101. I live in SD so I usually start in PB or La Jolla and then cruise the 101 all the way up to Oceanside and then take the 5 South back down. It's a dope ride.

Crashed at 75 without a scratch? I wish i would have gotten that lucky. I totaled my gsxr1000 in azusa canyon last month on the 18th. Lost traction in a turn while going 85 and slid about 75 feet into a guardrail. Broke every rib on my left side, collapsed my lung, ruptured my spleen and fractured my elbow. Doctor said i could be riding again in as little as three months.

P.S. Tuna Canyon Road, due to landslide many many years ago is a one way (No oncoming traffic) canyon twisty (parallel Topanga Canyon Road to the North). Except for some stones from the hillside, a great way from up to Coast. Also, 2) Encinal Canyon Road (From Mulholland to Coast), and 3) Portrero Canyon Rd. (from Westlake Canyon Road) 3) Other favorites rides is Bouquet Canyon Road ( Rancho Santa Clarita ) to Lake Elizabeth Road (Turn Left to Rock Inn during Non-covid 19 closure times for a burger) 4) Hwy 2, Angeles Crest Highway (From La Canada Flintridge to Big Pines. Cross Traffic dangerious, CHP present on all these roads, except Encinal and Tuna can be quiet.

You're very lucky you ran into that traffic with that Pickup Truck in front of you. That kept you at the speed limit and saved you from that cop sitting on the side of the road. You know you would have at least been speeding (a little), even if you weren't going all out. Someone must have really complained to put that many cops on the hill.
