How Much I Make on YouTube - Revealing My Ad Revenue

Let's talk about money. I've made videos in the past about how little we are paid in residency and how I think it is important to do other things outside of medicine to supplement your income. I used this video as a way to show exactly what I have been doing outside of practicing as a physician. I think it is important to reiterate the fact that I am not trying to brag as my youtube revenue is WAY smaller than a lot of youtubers on this platform, however I wanted to show you that it is in fact possible to earn income outside of being a doctor or working in healthcare.
For some reason, we are taught in med school and residency that being a physician is the only way to earn money, but that is entirely not true. With this video, and many of my future videos, I want to show you just how you can make money in other ways!
Hopefully, this video can inspire some of you all to get out there and work harder and do other things to set yourself up for financial success! If I can do it...anyone can.

Thank you Dr. Cellini for being transparent with KZfaq revenues. It shows that hard work and consistency can indeed pay off in the end. While I find this very interesting, I can't see myself doing extra work when I am exhausted as a resident. Resident life is VERY CHALLENGING and sometimes, rest is all you want. I hope that many people realize that while it is possible to put in the work to be a successful KZfaqr like Dr. Cellini, most people will be so drained after a day as a resident. Dr. Cellini is just on another level :)

Thanks for this video Doc C, and that’s awesome how you were able to boost your incomes to 6 figures as a resident. It still baffles me how physicians in training who are residents have to work such insane hours and get paid relatively speaking, peanuts. Just doesn’t seem fair right or sensible imo

I know it's comparing apples to oranges; however, this less than minimum wage for resident pay is also something for clinical psychologists. I'm currently on clinical internship (our training-level equivalency of residency) working approximately 50 hours a week at the top academic medical center in my current state - making about 11/hr when it averages out. Not to mention, we're required to do multiple years of unpaid clinical work prior to our internship/residency (approximately 20-25/hrs a week for 3-4 years) while completing classes, an empirical dissertation, and publishing research manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. I currently have to moonlight to supplement my income (and have had to all throughout my graduate training). The system as a whole has some major work to be done - especially for marginalized individuals pursuing medicine and behavioral health!

I finally verified it manually but they still have not responded back to me and after 4 months turned off my ads. Do you know of anyway to fix this or hear back from them? Their customer support is pretty much non-existent! Hoping to get it fixed soon. 🙏🏼
